Welcome KamperKat!
If it does turn out that you are still very early the MW may just take a urine sample and not much else. That's what happened to me.Mum to DD born Oct 2009

money_maker wrote: »As a little side note on the debate earlier, it is very difficult to read some posts against sections, esp as mine was elective, and the condition that Dylan has really only affects section babies. I have already gone through all the what ifs and blaming myself that he would be home and healthy if I had a natural birth, but I did what I thought was the right decision for me and my baby, and we are not able to change that now. Sorry if that sounds bad, and I dont want anyone to stop posting their opinions and experiences, but can you all please keep in mind that we all need to be careful with how we word certain things. Thanks
and based on what you posted at the time, it was the right decision for you and him. Just because Dylan has a complication now which is common with section babies doesn't make it the wrong one. Babies who are born vaginally also have complications, especially when mechanical extractions are required.
You sound like a fab mum - 11mls expressed in the first day of milk coming in - woohoo! - and have absolutely nothing to beat yourself up about.
Hope you and Dylan are home together soon.0 -

Can I just say that I wasnt directing my post at skinty, I saulte her for knowing what she wants and is doing everything she can to get it, a lot of new mums go into the birth blind and that can be a bad thing. I just asked if we could all think a little more about how we can sometimes word our posts, as we are all hormonal and can take things the wrong way
Anyway thats probably enough on that subject for one day ....The two best things I have done with my life
