Hello!! I have just done my first batch cooking experiment, yay!! I used this as a guide which I found on the OS board I think, but basically just made 4 meals of chilli and 1 meal of cottage pie and 5 meals of spag bol. All from one 800g packet of mince :-) Not as much as the receipe as I didnt have any lentils or put any porridge in but still lots better than I would have done before. If it all tastes ok when I get round to eating it then I'm deffo gonna do more of this when my due date is nearer!! Gawd I was so hot in the kitchen though, gonna need another shower I think!!

I am trying have a day of no bejeweled today, going good so far but lots of time left yet, lol!! I've also got a big pile of ironing waiting to be done.

Me and DH went to Focus earlier to get some tester pots for the nursery. We were aiming for a pale yellow buttermilky colour. We got 2 testers which we were sure were the right colours but they are no where close!! We will have to try again!! Gets expensive to keep buying tester pots though!!

    xx

Well bought some early term maternity jeans from Mothercare so was able to use my discount to use, but I still think there the most expensive jeans I have bought in the last 4 years lol. On the bright side they are nice and could wear them now plus they have room to grow :D bought some extenders for my bras too so hopefully will get a bit more wear from them. Can any one recommend some other places to buy good quality mat wear at a reasonable price, and what should I buy? Fortunatley I have a uniform for work and there is a mat version available so only need a few key peices, maybe even non mat stuff but that will work around a bump.

Hey ladies how we all doing ?

Well today got off to a rubbish start other half phoned me from work he has been pulled on the motorway for speeding so i can feel a ban coming on shouldnt be a very long ban as its a first offence and he has been riding for years but we could do without the fine. I dont know weather to laugh or cry about it, other half is well p'd off with himself for being so stupid.

Ive really confused myself as well reading up on TT closer to nature bottles ive always used avent and automatically went out and bought those again for this one but now im thinking the others may be better ?? any input would be appreciated :-) xx

Peacocks have started doing a good range of maternity wear nothing fancy but good staples at very reasonable prices Jeans and trousers start at about £10-£15 a pair and Tshirts packs £8 so you can save over half money wise compared to mothercare. ;-)

Brilliant I had totally forgotten about peacocks, I noticed some nice bits last time I was in there (few months ago tho). Might go along next weekend, thanks.

I got all my maternity clothes in the Next sale, a pair of trousers from M&P and one order from Topshop for vests and belly bands. Having said that, I wish I'd bought nursing vests at the beginning - they have space for bellies but you can also use them afterwards.

I'd say check the sale items at all the usual suspects - Next, Topshop, Mothercare, Mamas and Papas - and buy online with Quidco wherever possible. Ebay's also pretty good.

Edit: I wish to take back my rant from yesterday and anti-rant about my lovely husband. Today he has:

emptied a box of crap and sorted it
moved the table back to its normal position
    built the changing table
cleaned up after building the changing table
    sorted the sock mountain
    taken out the rubbish
    cleaned the bathroom
organised more of the baby stuff so we have lots more space
    built the baby gym
planned dinner for tonight and lunch for tomorrow with maximum leftover/freezer stuff usage
    will be making dinner

I have ... done a load of laundry and not bothered fetching it from the dryer
watched him build the changing table
    played Bejewelled
Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76
    Three gifts left to buy

I quite like the Mat.tops in H&M. Although the one I'm wearing today is a normal one from H&M with a elasticated top round the boobs then it's like a smock. Figured I could wear it after too so that it won't show my leftover bump. Only £9.99.

How are you feeling Molly? X

Feeling really good at the mo actually! House is up together and feel ready for baby to arrive now.

I had a few twinges last weekend and thought baby would make an early appearence, but since then, nothing, nada, zilch! I am seeing my midwife on wednesday and I am hoping she will offer a sweep to get things moving.
How are you doing? Did your last sweep do anything?

EDIT: Yey! I just got my 3rd star
