no toilets at job centre

I understand that Fortnum and Mason in London have very nice loos. There is an attendant who wipes the seat before you enter and generally looks after you. also top flight smellies and hand washes. mind you,its unlikely you will be shooting up or shoving your !!!! through a hole in the cubicle wall,or using your pen to write some dubious contact add on the back of the door. Thats the difference."Posh shops" expect to take your money.
The Job Centre is actually giving you money.
Nip it and smile.

And once again I ask............. who will man them, clean them, maintain them?????????????????????????????
Dont know bout your job centres but the one i went to actually had a cleaner. think about it, the cleaner is the one who cleans teh offices and so cleaned the toilet. not rocket science as i assume all job centres actually have cleaners!0 -

No... not all JCs have cleaners all day - like most offices, they are cleaned 'after hours'............
But I suppose this is the fault of the JC staff AGAIN?!?!?!?Oops!! Should I have posted this??? Some users don't think I shouldn't be offering advice due to my occupation!!!

This is kind of what i meant when i said about cleaners at JCs, though i guess some of the toilets woudl be in a right state well before the end of office hours.0 -
If, like 10% of the population, any of you have IBS, did you know you can get a "can't wait" card from The Gut Trust so that they'll have to let you use their loos? http://www.theguttrust.org/campaigns HTH
Incidentally they are also campaigning for better public toilet provision.
no they wont - most buisness with loos away from customer areas dont have the correct public liablity insurance to let the public use their loos!!!Dogs return to eat their vomit, just as fools repeat their foolishness. There is no more hope for a fool than for someone who says, "i am really clever!"0 -
You'd think we had marbled loos with gold taps the way people are talking. It's only been in the last two years our office has finally abandoned that awful "tracing paper" toilet paper ... the stuff you got at school.
I'd rather crap my pants than use a Job Centre toilet. They're like the black hole of Calcutta, the scene in the Edinburgh bookies in Trainspotting comes to mind. It'd be more hygienic to sh*t in the woods.
The public ain't missing much.0 -
In job centres they will, if you'd read the link you'd find that it stated...sillyvixen wrote: »no they wont - most buisness with loos away from customer areas dont have the correct public liablity insurance to let the public use their loos!!!But we also know that the scheme is not perfect - that some shops and businesses either do not recognise the scheme, or are unwilling to help out when the card is presented. We have already successfully campaigned on providing access to toilet facilities in Job Centres.Owing to financial constraints, the light at the end of the tunnel has been switched off until further notice.
