Has anyone used a different postcode to bypass the not accepting applications section in GFK by using a postcode they are accepting applications for, but then used your real address where they aren't accepting applications and then the other one as your alternate address. I'm just wondering for personal details and bank details they should be where you live but they're not accepting applications but you're able to do visits in the area where they are accepting applications. Does that make sense?

Then you need to make that clear in your post, because that is NOT what that particular post says and anyone taking a glance through, might think that it is okay to do that for all mystery shops!!!!!

I thought it was very clear to anyone reading the thread

Quite a few people have signed up to GFK using another postcode, for example a work address or relatives address, and then once signed up you can change your primary address to that of your home address with no hassle at all :)

I did it a while back and GFK are one of my most busiest MS companies ;)

Same system as Bare, although I have always found Tern to be a lot quicker than Bare.

You just have to wait until you get an email from Tern - but in my experience, they always do email you either way

It has been more like 3 weeks since I got my login details, when I applied for a job, it says I am still pending... Patience is not my best thing..ah well.

I wouldn't say the reimbursement is that high really. You have to buy 2 mains which are about £9 each and then the kids meal - don't know how much that is but guessing around £4.50 and then all the drinks which probably add up to over £12. Definately will be out of pocket on this one!

I agree - I meant high in a RE sense, as they are normally half of that for a lot of their pubs. I worked it out against the menu and decided as well as being p*ssed, we'd also be out of pocket for out lunch so cancelled. Not bad if you fancy a boozy lunch though..... hic..... :p

That's often the problem with RE, you have to accept the jobs so quickly before they disappear that you don't get time to be rational and think it all through!
    Now proud Mumto3 :j

I suggest you read this whole thread again, there are numerous references to Tern and its trial report.

If you struggle to read some posts in a thread, how on earth do you cope when it comes to reading a mystery shop brief and questionnaire!

Not all people read the whole thread and many would glance over, you should be aware of that, by the amount of duplicate posts near enough asking the same questions, or w/a posts that are duplicates of others!!!! That particular post stood out more than anything, rather than saying about making it up, it should have said, can I use a report that I have done for another company.

I don't struggle to reading briefs and questionnaires thank you, I am very highly regarded by companies that don't all use the FFF system!!!!!

I also notice, glancing through posts, that there are unfriendly people on here too, that can be quite nasty to other people!!!!

Perhaps you should pretend to go to the loo and then see how you feel at the end of the day, having actually not gone to the loo at all!!!

Not the best example to demonstrate the evilness of making up reports... :D

I aslo notice that there are stupid people on here, but don't let it bother me:rolleyes:
  • Ahh thanks for letting me know! I only did the test on Tuesday so I guess I'm in for a longer wait! Nevermind - at least I know when to expect it now. Thanks so much for that.

Am trying to see if I can get a job or two in London to coincide with my visit there next week. I not due in my meeting until 2pm so if I went down early in the morning I might be able to do a couple. Otherwise I'll just be lying in bed waiting for time to pass until my train!

There are loads for GAP at the moment in London that I can't do because I've reached my quota for that comapny this month.

Burgers, shop in a secure location and pizzas.

Also a bank on GFK, but it might be hard to find if you're not from London.

I did this, but then I have lots of assignments just down my road from day 1! Maybe they just have lots of shoppers in some areas and don't want to get saturated.
Slowly working towards earning enough money (through various ventures) to live unworriedly, treat my family and sleep under a lovely roof. x
