Did you definitely do the right times? Some of the jobs are sneaky, and say " <1130 - >1430" - this actually means BEFORE 1130 or AFTER 1430, check you haven't made this mistake...

Grrr.. you're right! I did it inbetween the time rather than before or after. I'd never noticed that before - will definitely keep a closer eye out next time! Have rescheduled it for tomorrow so will pop in after work and pick up a sarnie then. I'm a bit annoyed at that but I guess it's my own fault for not looking closer.

I would have needed to buy a sandwich at lunch anyway, so I'm not massively out of pocket.

How do i see these? I can see a petrol station but there's only one job showing for the whole country...

Have you done the audit orientation? Even if you have done it before you may have to do it again, after the website changes I had to do this for everything.

I had the available child (although only 18 mths), but I'd booked mine then thought about the amount of alcohol to be consumed. OH would be going back to work, I would be driving home with small child.

Perhaps not a good idea to consume glass of wine, spirits, pint of lager... I know you could order and leave them but I hate waste.

Now I know why the reimbursement was so high
I wouldn't say the reimbursement is that high really. You have to buy 2 mains which are about £9 each and then the kids meal - don't know how much that is but guessing around £4.50 and then all the drinks which probably add up to over £12. Definately will be out of pocket on this one!

EDIT: It's a different petrol station, d'oh! I've done the auditing orientation for them, but still can'y see them, so it seems that I have to do the MSing orientation too, unless it updates overnight or something?

I can't see them either, and I've also completed the audit orientation...

Can someone tell me please, how do Tern work? are the job allocations the same as Bare or do you get the job there and then. I am still waiting approval. Any advice please.

Same system as Bare, although I have always found Tern to be a lot quicker than Bare.

You just have to wait until you get an email from Tern - but in my experience, they always do email you either way

I'm not sure. I've only just done the New Shopper Test for Tern and am waiting for it to be graded. Wish they'd hurry up! I'm very impatient!

Grading takes 5-7 days, but they are very busy at the moment so may be longer, it took them 2 days to reply to an email I sent, whereas usually they reply within an hour or so
  • GRR at RE.

Just accepted a slimy creature & salad lunch. Did the pre-acceptance test. One of the questions "This visit is for 2 adults only". Ticked yes. Got accepted.

Now reading notes and it says its for 2 adults and a child!!! So I'll have to cancel.

How ridiculous , a lunch job where you have to take a child during term time??????

So watch out anyone, before accepting this job, check you have an available child!!!

    Same here ....grrrr.... !

Ahh thanks for letting me know! I only did the test on Tuesday so I guess I'm in for a longer wait! Nevermind - at least I know when to expect it now. Thanks so much for that.

Am trying to see if I can get a job or two in London to coincide with my visit there next week. I not due in my meeting until 2pm so if I went down early in the morning I might be able to do a couple. Otherwise I'll just be lying in bed waiting for time to pass until my train!
