Ahh thanks for letting me know! I only did the test on Tuesday so I guess I'm in for a longer wait! Nevermind - at least I know when to expect it now. Thanks so much for that.

Am trying to see if I can get a job or two in London to coincide with my visit there next week. I not due in my meeting until 2pm so if I went down early in the morning I might be able to do a couple. Otherwise I'll just be lying in bed waiting for time to pass until my train!

Check RE and Gap, I am seeing loads of Londons

Does anyone know about the call surveys on OC - how are these paid, per call?

Yep they are paid per call.

Its showing £3, so that is per call? I presume thats only for completed surveys, I havent yet once spoken to someone who wishes to do the survey, most of them are busy and put the phone down

For Tern, do you really not have to do the jewellery shop for real? Can you just make it up and they won't check up on whether you actually went to a shop? I'm very confused and if I have to go to a real shop, I won't bee able to do it until Friday (boo). Otherwise I'll be able to do it tonight (yay!).

Just make it up, everyone else does

OMG are you really serious :mad::mad:

Just give us all a bad name then, wonder why the clients stop using mystery shoppers making less jobs about for us who strive to work seriously on each and every job we do!!!
I thought this thread was supposed to be helpful to Mystery Shoppers, obviously not then, if that is what you do, ask if you can pretend to do a job and someone else agrees that everyone does it!!!!! I don't think so
Perhaps you should pretend to go to the loo and then see how you feel at the end of the day, having actually not gone to the loo at all!!!

Hopefully the CCTV will catch you out one day!

You have got the wrong idea about what we are talking about.

We were referring to a trial visit/test visit whatever you want to call it for Tern.

Before they accept you onto their books, they ask you to write a report just so they can see what your English is like, your spelling, grammar, etc.

With this report, they even state you can use one you have done before or, if you want to, can go and do the MS and treat it as a real assignment, but it is not paid as it is just a trial!

What a lot of people do is use a previous shop report and just change the words around a bit, or just make it up. Tern read your report based on your English, they couldnt care if you actually went or not.

I am sure the others will back me up when I say this - we would never fake a real MS - its not fair on the clients and totally defeats the whole point of having mystery shoppers.

So, next time, before your next rant - I suggest you read our posts properly and not take them out of context ;)

Then you need to make that clear in your post, because that is NOT what that particular post says and anyone taking a glance through, might think that it is okay to do that for all mystery shops!!!!!

I suggest you read this whole thread again, there are numerous references to Tern and its trial report.

If you struggle to read some posts in a thread, how on earth do you cope when it comes to reading a mystery shop brief and questionnaire!
