Went for a run instead, feel so much better:D. Decided to go into the bank to see if they would cancel the PPI on my loan (especially as they wouldn't let me claim on it)...my thinking is, why should I pay for something they won't let me claim on:p
    we shall see what happens.

On the plus side my mother has just put £30 into my account

Made a daft mistake of running today in shorts:eek: not my usual running tights......so so sso cold....what a numpty!

The bank have decided it was best to make a complaint about the banks insurance procedure ( as I wasn't missold the PPI) so have to wait to see what happens now.

Happy New Year everyone, a few steps closer to being debt free:j

  • Happy New Year!

The snowball thing sounds a bit scarey, must admit once I got used to the figures I found it really ace. Which debt are you tackling first?

Just a thought - are you *sure* you weren't missold the PPI? I think I've read lots on here about people claiming it back?

    Cheers

mmm not *sure* I took it out to cover in case of redundancy...not much help was it:D

Think its the fact that you put in your min and it says .......go away you'll be debt free once you're dead......type of date:D but I can see how it would become addicted.

First is the Vancquis CC. I want to clear it by end of Jan. Soi will pay more off that one and £1 a time to the Cap1 CC: Then once the Vanc is clear that money goes to the Cap1

Then the Welcome finance> I can't overpay on the barclays loan but will once the WF is gone the extra will be put away till I can pay Barc off early.

As it's Jan 1st: this is my first NSD of the month;)

  • Have you read the PPI guide? Its on the site here, and may be helpful? Lots of people seem to refer to reclaiming PPI in their sigs so it might be worth a read.

You sound like you're well organised with paying off the debts - good luck.

    Cheers

MMM thanks CBM, think I will take a look at it....every little helps.

Had a bit of a spend today, school stuff for both DD's and me and £2 in a charity shop for books 2 +3 of LOTR which I don't think is too bad.

Hope as tmw is Sunday it will be a NSD.
Have put all the bills into my account. I know it will cost me a lot more but at last they will be paid.

Have started stapeling my recipts into my spending diary in the hope it will scare me wittless ( did think of another word but the PC doesn't like it)
Signed up for various survay sites and entered lots of online comps.

Not sure what else I can do.....I will succeed...come hell or high water.
Proud to be dealing with my debt:eek:
