£2 PAD for me today....got to remember every little helps:D
And off for another run, worked out that Christmas day was the only day over the break that I didn't go for a run:j mind you have to increase my milage before these ultra races.Proud to be dealing with my debt:eek:
TOTAL: £6,437 (04/01/2013) slowly but surely it is decreasing:D0 -

well done!
i've achieved 2 this month as well, fri and sat.
went to spend some chrissy voucher money today and spent too much - i should be barred from the range.
I have found the perfect fabric to cover our two sofa's with, and it's a reasonable £8.99 (was twice that price originally). just need to figure out how to calculate how much fabric i need and how to actually cover them.0 -
Two NSDs here too! Went to John Lewis yesterday - and only spent voucher, then Boots - only spent voucher, and Ikea (spent about £2 on hot dogs and coffee though).
Wow on the running Catspaw - I think there were days I didn't even get out of the house!!!
Cheers

Think we're all doing well on the NSD:j
Lemon Tree, can't help with the sofa's, would suggest measuring and doubling but apart from that? Maybe someone on the OS board mihgt give you an idea.
CBM: mmmmmm IKEA hotdogs mmmmmmm and they're so cheap, really like the jelly from there:o
The running is something I do to destress, ahve done it for years: I do race but not seriouslyt, just silly ones and the muddier the better....have taken up ultra running (it seems to help with the other sports as well).
My online banking is down which is annoying as I wanted to make a PAD-might have to put money into a savings account- but I don't like to count taht as a PAD.
DD's back to school tmw:j:j so coffee and a bisuit first thing when they have gone and start working hard.
Am not sure what to do now:
I am doing this self employment, it's a long hard slog (which I knew about) but its the fact it takes the money so long to come in.
Or, go back to being employed, whichh pays well but is very constricting and potentially not as luctrative........I know it means I wwould pay of my debts quicker........but not much.Proud to be dealing with my debt:eek:

A so-so day today, made a PAD of £10, so I can see the CC's slowly coming down.
Ruthlessly sorted all my papaperwork and double checked with all the bill companies as to when they are coming out. I am definately paying for everything at the moment but it's be paid.
Spent £3.60 on 2 coffees with a friend, don't get out too much so this is my fortnightly treat, and spent £30 on study/revision books for both DD's, bit of a pain at the cost but that was 3 books each and will help them.
Ordered my set reading book for the OU, not paid for it yet ( so that's £34 to go out when it arrives).
Done lots of work today and am feeling positive....also registerd to be an exam invigilator-something I saw on the Up Your Income board.
Got all my kit ready for fencing to start back end of the week:j vast amounts of bright/stripy/luminous/patterned socks to put my opponants off:D:D didn't realise how many pairs I had:D:D:DProud to be dealing with my debt:eek:

SNOW SNOW SNOW SNOW
I have knee deep snow on my very short drive and my poor little rust bucket of a car is buried up to her bumpers:D
Did go for a run yesterday about 7pm when it was only ankle deep and got some very funny looks, no idea why:rolleyes:
Was supposed to meet a friend and go for a 10 miler today ( see all this running helps with the NSD's), but the schools are closed and a 20 mile drive in this weather might not be practical. The roads are being cleared and it *seems* to have stopped. We shall see. Just the minor fact of having to dig my car out and then seeing if she starts!
DD's are hoping to take their ski's out later ( not deep enough to snowboard worse luck).
Made my PAD of £10 to both CC's aand if WF can sort out the lost payment I can upadte my signature. Need to pay them today as well.
Wasw supposed to be heading out this evening to my martial arts class but ...................
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO realised that I have hit the £100 mark for Cap1: I might clear it in the next couple of weeks then throw it all at Vanquis.
Question then: what do I do with Vanquis? Do I cut it up and cancel or do I cut it up but keep the available credit for my credit score???????Proud to be dealing with my debt:eek:

There is a really good thread about credit cards and balance transfers. I read it and decided to keep my cards open but not used. Do you have more than 5 - from memory that was the average?
Cheers

I only have to 2 of them. A limit of £200 on the Cap1 and £250 on the Vanquis.
Would it be worth me tarting them around or keep the credit available? mmmm might have to pop over to the CC thread and see what they say.
Think its a case of seeing all the threads but not reading/really looking at them:D. thanks for reminding meProud to be dealing with my debt:eek:

I'd go over and have a look at the BT thread here - Moggles is your man (or could be woman lol) as he's got a really good handle on it all. How long do you think it will take you to clear the Vanquis - if it will be a really long time it could be worth trying to transfer it, but it depends on your credit score etc so look at Martin's article first - (link from the BT thread) and then ask specific questions from the folk who know what factors are important.
How is the snow - are you running on the spot with pent up jogging energy lol??
Cheers
