We have the same birthday! I'm sure you can do it, I'll cheer you on. Plus there's not a chance I'll be able to forget your hopeful DFD.

It's okay, I missed the first two weeks but OH got me into it! Most of the people in it seem pretty nice, don't have the token queen bee which is makes a change! Missed it the last few nights though, so I'm not too sure what's going on.

ETA: I think I'll have enough for the Tigi tweens when I get back, I have the superstar one atm but it's getting to the point where I can't smell the strawberry niceness anymore, so pretty glad it's almost empty! Tempted to order it today incase it goes out of stock.. umming and ahhing over it.

How strange that we have the same birthday! _party_ :j I always think that party smilie looks like it has a weird tongue!

If you know that you'll have enough money to get those shampoos then I'd order them now, just in case.

You've talked me into it! Came to £17 with postage, still a bargain and about £5 cheaper than salons in town. Leaves me with only £6.10 to carry over into next weeks budget, I'll just have to be really good until the end of the month!

Glad you got it cheaper! :money:

It's only the 9th, til the end of the month is a long time to be good! I'm sure you'll do it. It's the unexpected stuff that trips you up though. Like sales

It's been torture with all these sales! I've only spent £29 in them this summer though (after I take my dress back) or £49 if I count my sisters dress. Last year it would have been edging about £150 mark. When I was 'MSE' but bought anything I thought was a bargain

Thankfully I don't *need* anything, stocked up with enough toothpaste, face wipes, toner and now shampoo to last me well until Sept! So my only spends for this month should be petrol and food... until a pretty dress catches my eye no doubt. So should be able to pay off the CC in full this month.

I think I've been pretty good too, but my aunty is coming down on Saturday to take my Mum shopping and they want me to go too. So that will take all my willpower not to buy anything! :p

You've done really well only spending that much!

I have so many toiletries it's untrue. I could rival Boots. I don't know how they build up so much!

That's great being able to pay off the CC in full! :T How long is it interest free for?

Hello! I didn't realise that your diary was actually up and running for real! I've been really out of the loop recently!
I've just had to talk myself out of buying that Tigi shampoo and conditioner! I was hovering over the button to add to cart and had to say to myself, 'Hey! It may be reduced but it's still £17.40! Your £1.50 Avon shampoo is just fine Lady!'. I think I may be growing... although... shouldn't you change shampoo etc so your hair doesn't get too used to the one you're using??? Argh...talking myself back into it!
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

I think I'm swayed by the fact I just got bought them, but I say get it! What one is it you're after?
Since I've been using Tigi my hair is in the best shape it's been in years, so I'm pretty unwilling to go back too Alberto Balsam! I think it's okay to get the more expensive things over the cheaper ones if you search for the best deal like Martin once (roughly) said 'It isn't about not spending money, but getting the most out of it'

ETA: Zig - The card is interest free until next June, was surprised Tescos offer me one with such a long interest free period really!
I had a massive clear out of my toiletries but still have a big box full left, my main weakness is those 99p facial pouches you can get. Need to keep on reminding myself I have plenty at home still to use before I buy another.

That's the ticket! My brother isn't MSE at all but even he uses that quote now.

I seem to get cheap everything else so Tigi is my one treat! Saying that I've become a real label junky recently makeup wise, so I need to nip that in the bud and get back to thinking 17 is the best thing ever!

Starting to feel a tad guilty about going away tomorrow, that's the one thing about working in a family company. I feel guilty when I'm not here! Last year when I was really ill I remember begging my dad to let me connect to the office via my laptop so I could get some paperwork done :o Even offered to come in over Christmas this year (for free) I think there's something wrong with me.
