Hey, think I could be a bouncer? I know I'm small but I look pretty tough if I cross my arms and furrow my brow.

Sometimes we have to accept there are limitations in life, I'd hate to see you crushed by a drunk rugby player!

Watch what you're saying about Rugby players! ;)
I think you'd be more suited to giving the drunkards cakes to soak up the booze rather than keeping them out of the pub!

Nevermind crushed by a rugby player, you've just crushed my dreams! *sob*

Okay, so no bouncer jobs then. There aren't that many cleaning jobs on the Job Centre - My sister is still with the council so I'll have a gabber with her this afternoon, see if she knows of any jobs going. When I was there before the morning shifts earnt me about £350 a month, which wouldn't be too shabby for extra income.

£350 extra a month is certainly not to be sniffed at! Failing that are there any restaurants nearby needing evening waiting staff? I think you'd be a lovely waitress! Or you could be a dessert chef!

I used to waitress in a pub, and I'll tell you what there is nothing so good for boosting the confidence. It was actually really fun, fab exercise, and a lot of the regulars had me doing babysitting work too!

I have been reading DFW diaries for a while now, but this is my very first post!
I really like your diary Cinny91. You have a great attitude and have inspired me to perhaps start my own DFW diary. Keep up the good work!

A litte part time job sounds like a fab idea. Cleaning is supposed to pay quite well in terms of hourly wage. Or how about a shop or something. Supermarkets etc are quite good as they aren't 9-5 jobs so you can get hours that could suit you.

Hi Dallas! Just read your thread, have subscribed!

Right, back to the land of spreadsheets for me! Was very naughty last month with my phone on OH being away and I managed to send him over 1000 texts :o I don't know how I did it! But because of that my phone bill is crazy mad. Direct Debits for this month are £91  Holy Moly!

But I've worked out that if I'm really very good I should be okay. I'll have £280 coming into my bank account before then, which after spends, board, CCpayment, money for OH I'll have £143 left before all next months direct debits come out, so I should be okay.

Need to set a savings target for September for mine and OHs holiday in December. The final payment is £358, but my sister is giving me the £90 she owes me and OH should be giving me about £50 from what he owes so I'll set the target for £250ish. Should be easy! Really excited about this holiday. Hoping me and OH car get a bike rack for his car so we can go out on the bikes as well as on the walks. Need to get some walking boots actually!

Hey Cinny, did you ever find out about those baking and accountancy courses? Sounds good about the second job too.
