Eeek not good about your OHs car. It doesn't matter if the other bloke admits fault, the insurance companies look at both cars, written statements, and any photographs taken at the scene and they decide who was at fault. So if the other bloke went into the back of Rich, there is no way his company will have to pay out, because 99.9% of the time the one who went into the back is at fault. If he's still at the accident site tell him to take photos of the ipact, and the area to help accident investigators.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Ahh what bad luck! Hope it all manages to get it sorted out in Rich's favour.
Sounds like you got some lovely things at Lush, if you reviewed all them on Dooyoo you could make most your money back!0 -
I told him about if the girl hit into the back of him it's automatically her fault - he's hopefully ringing up the insurance blokeys today so we should be able to get it sorted. It's just a pain more than anything!
I would have only spent £15 in Lush but the guy with really nice hair behind the counter said if I spent another £5 I'd get a freebie - couldn't argue with that! Asked OH if he wanted anything but he just grunted so I ended up grabbing whatever was on the counter to make the money up
Well done with the diet Poddle! I've been rubbish with mine this week but I've some how managed to loose 1 pound so I can't complain!
Planning on vegging out today, got some ironing that needs to be done and going to try and get the washing basket empty again. Hope everyone has a nice day!0 -
Urgh, bloody cars.
I took photos of the car, it looks a right state. It seemed worser today after sleeping. Had a bit of trouble with my shoulders and neck today with sitting at work for several hours, i dont want to go to the doctors if its nothing, but people are saying i could claim... However im not sure if id be able to, cos im not in agonising pain, just tenses up and becomes fairly stiff... Anyone with experiences? Im sure if kate looks she can text me and let me know
Rang the insurance company today, they said they would be investigating further, so hopefully i'll hear something tomorrow about it. Car should be picked up tomorrow aswell to take it in for repairs, just hoping they dont write it off. =(0 -
It sounds like whiplash, for which yes you can claim if the other party is found at fault. I got £3,400 for my whiplash claim a few years ago when a girl reversed into the side of my car and spun me into the path of a landie. Did she go into the back of you? If they say they won't be investigating further hopefully that means they think its cut and dry?
It wouldn't be the worst thing if yours was written off, I mean its doubtful considering the value you just paid for it, but given how recently you bought it you'd get the full price you paid for it. A car that has been in an accident has a lower resale value which is why it might not be the worst thing in the world.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

I always thought whiplast was severe pain when moving. I can move and everything, but its just if i stay stationary for too long it causes my neck and shoulders to stiffen. Never had it before so i wouldn't know :P
As for the car, i suppose it might not be too bad. Only thing is ive bought it on finance, so im not sure how id go about sorting it out. It's just a !!!!!! that it's all happened. Been a nightmare, the entire week for the pair of us. Hopefully me and OH (oh yeah i used it) will get a good run of luck sometime. I'll have to nip into the bookies if so0 -
Nope mine was just pain and aching all the time, back was so stiff I couldn't lift my arms up to hold a book let alone drive a car or cook a meal!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

What a pain about the car! I think this is a sign from above that maybe this isn't the car for you Mr Cinny/LOD! Have you heard anything more? Why was the person who hit you saying that they wouldn't accept responsibility?Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0
