I'd recommend it Wendz, not too sure what my mum and sister would say though! Isn't really that true to her life, but bar that it's lovely! I felt really underdressed with all her outfits!

Been working stuff out and there's a chance I'll be spending on my credit card this weekend, not such a good week money wise for buying a duvet but I'm getting to the point where I'm waking up shivvering so I think I need it! Still need to do a proper budgety thing - at least I know if I end up spending on the CC this weekend I'll be able to pay it straight off next week.

Also might be working full time again next week, although not full time with pay! We're getting a few houses up and ready to sell and one needs a lick of paint. Just the walls and ceilings so nothing major. Looks set to take up a week of afternoons though! Might be able to rope OH into it next Friday with promises of a chinese afterwards. Got another 2 houses maybe coming up to sell over the next few months too so another few weeks of unpaid work - at least it shows willing I guess! And might put me towards a little pay rise :D

    Hi Cinny

Just wanted to say I'm so sorry about your cat :( There's nothing you could have done - it's just one of those horrible sad things that happens when you're a pet owner. I know nothing's going to make you feel better, but like everyone said, look after yourself. Sending big hugs x x

Thanks you two :) I'm feeling a lot better today, she was mainly an outdoor cat so it only really hits me she isn't here anymore in the morning and at night when I used to feed her. Not looking forward to going home tonight and remembering all over again. I know some people must think it's a lot of fuss over a cat but they were like my kids! ..Only really small with 4 legs and some fur, but still.

My diary has been neglected the past few days too! After all the poo with my cat I've decided to cut loose a few days from moneysavingect and have a bit of fun with my money. Going to be back on Sunday to confess to every little spend though, I have a feeling it aint gonna be pretty!

Don't worry about getting upset. I was devastated when my two old cats died. one of the cats my mum has had a car accident, was very lucky though. I was so upset when I heard. You can't help but get attached to them.

I don't blame you for wanting to have some fun for a bit. As long as you aren't getting youself in debt there is no halm in that at all.

Glad you're feeling better today, but I completely understand what you mean about them being like your kids. I love my cats.
After I read your post I rang my Mum and said 'I've just read on a girl's diary that her cat was in an accident and I feel really sad but I don't even know her or the cat!' We have a cat who crosses the road without looking and sits at the edge of the road. It's awful. My Mum is really protective of him. But you can't stop these things from happening which sucks.

I agree with Wendz, relax for a few days and just come back and confess all your sins on Sunday! :p

I was soo upset when my 17 year old cat died a couple of years ago and my flatmate (a non-pet-owner might I add) was a bit sneery and 'it's only a cat' until I pointed out that he was older than her little sister and how would she feel if SHE suddenly wasn't around anymore?

It's a risk you take with pets though, we wouldn't have them if we weren't going to get attached and the joy they give far outweighs the sadness when they die. If we thought like that we'd never have friends or boyfriends, because they're all going to die at some point anyway so what's the point?!

Anyway, lots of love, hope you're feeling better x

Thanks again girls! I feel much better today, pooface has been spoilt rotten - I don't think he ever wants to see another whiskas food pouch or felix chicken treat as long as he lives (or, maybe until tomorrow)

I've come to confess my spends! I spent £21.21 in Lush yesterday, got bath melts, sweetie pie jelly soap, coconut powder, yummy yummy yummy shower gel and vanilla solid perfume - got their new hair mask worth £12.95 for free too for spending over £20. So I'm classing that as a bargain. :D
Spent £14 in Sainsburys today, bought; Marie Clarie, Elle Interiors, Hair Dye, Diet coke 6packs (2 for £3) and a sandwich for dinner.

Got a call from OH earlier to say someone has crashed into his car and he can't drive it. We have the worst luck ever! He said the other person isn't willing to take the blame so we might end up claiming on his car insurance so it's gonna cost a bomb next year. Not quite sure what has happened though.. waiting for him to ring me back still!

Right, off to do a DIY manicure. My mum went to stock up at the beauty wholesalers today so I'm going to steal some of the new cuticle oil - smells like peaches!

Oh eeps, total nightmare about OH's car!! Hope you get to the bottom of it soon...

Good on you for confessing your spends and keeping your chin up! I'd say they were pretty modest spends really and you deserve a bit of pampering and interior design !!!!!! :D

I've been sooo good all day MSE wise and diet wise - I went out to buy a fascinator for a friend's wedding next weekend (hurrah the dress I already have fits like a dream!) but decided I didn't want to spend £15 to clip some feathers into my hair - have ordered some bases from ebay and going to make my own.

I normally abandon the diet at the weekend, but have counted all my ww points and only 1 over today so not bad at all - just need not to eat anything else today!! Finished my job, going to relax and watch a movie with my boy now he's back from the Midlands :)

ENjoy the rest of your weekend girls! x
