I've just signed up to Food Focus and I'm sure if I like it or not! I want to eat a Penguin but I don't want to log it and feel bad! I'm allowed 548 Cal for the rest of the day and that's if I go swimming tonight! Does it go all Red and angry if you go over your daily allowance?!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0

It doesn't judge you or anything Birdie, just lets you feel guilty on your own! Calories go absolutely nowhere I've discovered these last couple of weeks - 2000 or even 1000 sounds like a lot but they just disappear!!
Are you still in Chorley? How's it going?Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
Cinny knowing your past history with calorie counting I think you need to stay above 1400 realistically to not put yourself into a spiral. Your body burns about 1900 a day even if you have a desk job, so you'd still be loosing 1/4-1/2 a lb per day even before any exercise. Your body will start to go into starvation mode, and you won't loose weight, just be cold and get a bit furry, if you don't give it enough to run on.
Food focus does kind of guilt me into not eating the bad stuff, although today I'm doing well, still have over 350 cals left for the day, which could mean a dinner of a medium jacket spud, and a huge vegetable stir fry with it and a bit of sauce or sprinkling or parmesan. Have some dried apple and goji berries in my bag from the free graze box, and they are tempting me! Although will have them as a snack tonight if I get peckish at home.
ETA: I went for a stroll at lunchtime - woohoo extra 50cals!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

How did you find the goji berries Dinah? They were in that flapjack I made the other week, I wasn't mad keen I have to say! Food focus makes me laugh with some of the things you casn count as exercise 'sitting down playing with children' - what?!?! As in playing snakes and ladders?!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0

I wasn't aiming to be under 1000calories, I thought I'd bought loads of food and I'd be over what I'm allowed! :rotfl: Decided to have a wrap instead of a sandwich, more calorie and more fat content so I don't turn into a bobble head. Plus Boots to shapers crisps (which taste better than the full fatty stuff) so I'll switch the apple for a packet of those. Should bring me to 1300 calories. Sounds much better!
Just got a text from Rich to say he might be able to pick the Megane up tonight. Thank God for that!
ETA: I love goji berries!! I think they taste like those rainbow drops you can buy.0 -

I suppose I can live with my own guilt as long as it doesn't flash a big Fattie Warning notice when I admit to eating some biscuits! I am still in Chorley; will be here until the end of next week but I may be home from then on- whoop! Or is it whoop as we're setting up the department I'm working on here back at my workplace and I'm papping myself as it is doomed to go A over T and I'm the only one who 'knows' what to do!
Diet is really difficult whilst I'm away; my lunch and evening meals are pretty much dictated to me so it's luck of the draw really but I resist the cooked breakfasts which I'm proud of!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. Ah so car is all repaired? Yay, you get your love life back!! Speaking of Boots crisps, have you tried their roast vegetable crisps (they're called something like that) - I'm absolutely addicted!!
See, the problem with being on a group diet like this is that we all end up talking about food all day and it makes me hungry! Going to leave work at 4 I think and head to the boring old gymWeightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
I'm hoping it is Tete! I'll be leaving my fingers crossed though, just incase.
I haven't tried the roast crisps, I'll have a look for them today though! This is the first time I've had a meal deal in aaages, I had to stop going with OH - he was getting addicted to them. I think he had one a day for a week once!
I've noticed since the diet started there's been a big up in food talk!tum te tum..

You lot make me feel bad, haven't got the right frame of mind to be dieting now though.
I used to be a member of a site called weightlossresources, they used to count certain naughty activities as calories burnt off hehe
I had a boots lunch yesterday and some of my pasta was actually frozen, should have taken it back but was too far away by that point.0 -
