    Afternoon.
    Lots to catch up on....
    Inky, good luck
    Doomy, well done
    Pooky, have a hug :grouphug:
Bookie, my mum wears contacts for distance, but buys the cheapo glasses from Pound shops for reading, she's got loads of pairs. She does have a pair of proper glasses for when she doesn't have the contacts in, but when the lenses are in, it's on with the 'easy readers'

    backing from whooshing :D

I've worn contacts since I was 15. Started with gas permeable and then moved to soft about 12 years ago. I wear fortnightly ones as my prescription is too high for dailies. To be honest, I let them go to monthly, the only reason I'm supposed to change them fortnightly is because of protein deposits. I'd love to go for the lasering but because of the prescription, I'd have to have the procedure where the lens in the eye is replaced. The lens becomes fixed and so the person becomes slightly long sighted and has to wear glasses for driving/reading etc, so I think - what's the point?!

Got my official feedback from my annual teaching observation. I am very happy with the feedback :D

and Freya and Joe... of course! but i was thinking you were staying at Snaggles's hoose..... it wasn't a "me no love you" omission... it was cause i thought you would be partying chez snaggles......

Erin can't wait to see your two... i think she's secretly hoping Joe whipps his bits out again, so she can pay more attention this time!

We need a plan for the saturday night...!! I'm thinking chinese, small wine and barbies n dinosaurs!

or crisps, dips, crudites (SP! lol) and wine!
I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....

Thanks Pepe. Keep swinging between 'yay I could do that job and I really want it' and 'I am useless and could never do that'

BB - well done with your observation :T

keep on the 'yay I could do that job and I really want it' side of thinking squizz. I've applied for a couple of jobs recently where I've wavered right up to (and past!) the time I've applied. I just kept gritting my teeth and thinking that the real reason I wanted to not get any further was down to lack of self confidence and belief - the crunch time only really comes when you are offered the job.
