Well glasses do cost loads and new lenses arent cheap even if you want the same style - then you need sunnys and goggles for swimming as well, plus its good to have a spare pair...it does get expensive I think :D

Its weird everyone loses their dailies up inside the eyelid - never done that with mine - used to happen with monthlies all the time...its pretty annoying when it happens...seeing out of one is not good for trying to find the other ;)

i can't decide if that would be because you are forgetful and lose them, or because you are a poser???

I must bring some photos of me in glasses....so not a poser! Think deidre barlow!!!!

It was cos my eyes kept getting worse and the lenses kept getting thicker and not wanting to wear milk bottles I had the 'thin' lenses...

I only lost one pair - when i got drunk at a works do and threw up out of the taxi window and they fell off my nose. I didn't go out all christmas. I never lost my glasses, they went on before I got up and came off in bed.....blind as a bat!

I need new lenses for my glasses, have them for emergencies and it's going to cost around £70  There's no way I can afford that.

I pay £15 a month for the monthlies and it's £22 for the dailies. I'm switching to a different company soon though as I get staff discount, my old boss has the monthlies you take out at night, costs her £6  So I may be able to switch back for summer if they are cheap.

Aaaaand it's gone! Wish me luck.. eek!

I used one of the online companies for glasses last time and I was really impressed. Glasses were about £25 including basic lenses, about an extra £30 for thin lenses I think.

Maz bless Erin, glad to see she has her priorities right...barbies first! Bea has NEVER played with a barbie (well not in my house, they might have them at school??) so I expect she will be very excited by all these dolls!

    Hi All

Regarding the glasses talk and lost glasses in particular did you see the offer for £5 glasses in the money saving email a couple of weeks ago.

They cost £5 + £3.50 postage and some of the frames aren't bad (not deidre b ones anyway). They are taking about a month to come but well worth it. I've bought a couple as spare pairs.
