You can only have it done once your prescription has been the same for at least two years or you'll end up needing contacts again anyway as they get worse...so that gives you time to save0

Likewise, wear glasses all the time, last time I asked about contact lenses I was told I had to wait as my eyes were changing too often. Bit squeamish about sticking things in my eyes anyway, so the idea of the laser thing is not good! Just as well I don't mind my glasses really, but it would be nice to do without sometimes.Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -

Rep has been. We go back for years - she has left me an open returns note to return what stock I want to.
That's great news Bookie. So you'll get a hefty credit note then, that's gotta help......I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
Chick-chick - nooooooo I cant believe you won a years supply and you dont like them!! Dailies are THE BEST - I always used to tear my monthly ones at the end of the month and they were sooo dry - now I have breathable dailys and they are great and I can wear them for 16 hours a day and I dont need to take a rest day once a week
I know, I was sooooo chuffed when I won them (from Best magazine), as I'd always wanted to try daily lenses, but couldn't justify the expense. It has also save me £13 a month for a year, which has been fab!
But I've been wearing lenses for 12 years now, and the dailies are just very difficult to handle in comparision to the monthlies, and make me get like :mad:0 -

I use monthlies and I use them almost everyday, very really I have days off. My average usage is probably 14hrs a day, but I can were them much longer. I have the ones you can occasionally sleep with, but how ever drunk I am, I always remember to take them out. Have had my lenses for about 12 years now and when I first got them, they were dubious cos they though my eyes were too dry.DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0

hey hey
settled my car insurance - £330 for the year... not too bad, £20 cheaper than last year.
although i did have an argueement with Admiral, and when i called Elephant they were ever so apologetic (being the same company) and matched their quote!
idiot at Admiral said i was lying about how long i'd been driving and that my insurance was then invalid and i wouldnt get a payout and i was paying distinctly under the odds and my renewals were a sham etc... basically the guy was a total !!!!!
Make sure you contact them and make a complaint, the call would have been recorded and they can then deal with the member of staff.
Having a "pfft" day and have achieved nothing.....had major issues with DD1 last night and feel like the worst parent in the world.
