I've been thinking of changing my lenses from Vision Express, but think I have a good deal with them at £19.50 a month, always getting free small bottles of solution when going on hols and if any problems, they always sort it out.DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0

Yeah I prefer to stay with my optican since I get free eye tests and aftercare and free mini bottles if I need any. I also have 5 and a half months here because the messed up earlier in the year and I had to get loads from the shop instead of getting them delivered - its good to have spares0

My monthly lenses with Specsavers only used to be £13 a month, and that is incuding the solutions.
I won a years supply of daily contacts last year, and I have hated them to be honest. I've found it more hassle opening up the individual packets every day, and they have also been more difficult to handle. They tear easily, and once they fold up on themselves, they are almost impossible to un-fold!
I've thrown numerous ones away. They are often inside out in the packets, which means I have to spend time taking them back out of my eye, and putting them in again. This is turn makes my eyes start watering, then I have to wait for them to settle so I can put my mascara on!
I'm definately going back to my monthly lenses once I have used these dailies up.
But that's just my personal opinion on them :rotfl:0 -

hey hey
settled my car insurance - £330 for the year... not too bad, £20 cheaper than last year.
although i did have an argueement with Admiral, and when i called Elephant they were ever so apologetic (being the same company) and matched their quote!
idiot at Admiral said i was lying about how long i'd been driving and that my insurance was then invalid and i wouldnt get a payout and i was paying distinctly under the odds and my renewals were a sham etc... basically the guy was a total !!!!!Mr & Mrs Doomcow Wedding Fund: £10200/£18000 (by 04/2012) (spent £2000)

I don't like dailies at all, they are too flimsy and not as comfortable as my monthlies. Only use them for scuba diving.DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0

I'd love to as well, but I'm scared too and it's soooo expensive. I'll probably never afford it.DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0 -
I'm waiting for mine to settle before I can have them lasered
Chick-chick - nooooooo I cant believe you won a years supply and you dont like them!! Dailies are THE BEST - I always used to tear my monthly ones at the end of the month and they were sooo dry - now I have breathable dailys and they are great and I can wear them for 16 hours a day and I dont need to take a rest day once a week0 -
