Yorkshire has been generally unpredictable this week, I would definitley bring something waterproof!Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
Yeah although Leeds usually has one sunny weekend day - its always sunny for some of it when I go (and I'll be there so hopefully the pattern will keep up) it tends to rain in the afternoons as the clouds come in off the hills...raincoats are good0

Okay - pressure chart says high pressure all weekend but a front in on Saturday which may bring a small amount of rain during the day but before and after i should be warm (but may be cloudy). Sunday looks better - some cloud in the afternoon but warm and dry
However, you'll know better by tomorrow as the fronts are a bit mixed at the moment so it could swing the other way overnight tonight0 -
It's been warm all week, but there's been lots of rain.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0

Becky - are you a weather nerd as well as a fractions nerd???!I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
Maz bless Erin, glad to see she has her priorities right...barbies first! Bea has NEVER played with a barbie (well not in my house, they might have them at school??) so I expect she will be very excited by all these dolls!
Erin hardly ever plays with them now, she's getting a bit old for them now... but i told her to take things to occupy herself on the journey and things to share with Bea and Chloe.......Anyone know if its going to be hot in leeds this weekend? Well I was taught to read pressure charts by my mum as a child and do have a 'its going to rain' sense about 15 minutes before (the air changes smell and feel) so i am able to usually guess what the weather is going to do from short range pressure chars - you only get these on the met office now
The reason BBC's weather is so inaccurate is because they have got too specific so its relly only good for 7-12 hours, next day forecasts and further should always be done off pressure charts
Anyway yeah I guess I am - but when you come from Bristol you have to be - it never stops raining there0
