it is something I took from that all day debacle last week. I'm very good at answering questions which are 'what would you do in this situation' but when I am then asked 'how would you do it' my mind doesn't work quite so fast within the interview situation. I need to think of a few relevant answers to 'how' type questions I think when I next get an interview.

I hate those 'provide an example' questions they like to spring on you - luckily in my job I can bring examples to an interview and usually choose a good mix to help me answer them0

examples are fine - I've got lots of things I can draw on - it's the strategic hypothetical questions about what the department may need to happen I need to be more in-depth on my answers with.
