Bookie thats half the battle! Getting a foot in the door and thats about selling yourself on paper. Then you sell yourself in the interview.

I see it all the time when i have interviewed in the past. You have to weed out 'unsuitable' people. They may be suitable but haven't managed to put it down on paper.

Good luck with the jobs everyone who's looking!

Bunny, whatever's wrong I hope it gets better soon.

My partner/carer/whatever he is has gone away for a couple of months, flat to myself yay! I went to the market and stocked up the freezer, just need lunches and veg so hopefully I can keep the food budget right down. Celebrated with a magnum ice cream (six for £1 on the market) and might have a bottle of beer.

Sister yet again didn't come round today. I've decided sod her, I'll get the flat sorted on my own, even though it'll take me a lot longer. Moving the bits of furniture could be a problem, but I'll do my best. It's time for me to make a stand and stick to my guns about my life. Oops, sorry, didn't mean to start ranting again.

And all the talk of contacts has made me decide I'm def sticking with glasses!
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

    Pooky, have a hug :grouphug:
Bookie, my mum wears contacts for distance, but buys the cheapo glasses from Pound shops for reading, she's got loads of pairs. She does have a pair of proper glasses for when she doesn't have the contacts in, but when the lenses are in, it's on with the 'easy readers'

Thanks Twitty....nice to know someone bothered to read it.

Make sure you contact them and make a complaint, the call would have been recorded and they can then deal with the member of staff.

Having a "pfft" day and have achieved nothing.....had major issues with DD1 last night and feel like the worst parent in the world.

Sometimes, being a grown up is really, really naff.

    Sorry Pooky. :o
You are NOT the worst parent in the world - I'd beat most people hands down. What's up with DD1?
    Grownuppfulness is horrible ain't it.
