well even after result I must say that Manchester is more central for more people, and as the last london meet attracted 2 people only ::)
manchester also cheaper accomodation etc
I demand a recount

Gutted!
It does seem unfair, as the last party was in London, should be Manchester this time which would give different people the opportunity to go.
Yes Glad, accommodation in Manchester is a lot cheaper, especially for the 4 money savers who were going to stay at ours if it was in Manchester;D

Mr & Mrs Nile vote for Manchester.
We did go to the first party in London but it costs an arm and a leg for car parking, congestion charge, hotel etc.
When we went to the Manchester meeting at Salford Quays we didn't pay to park, didn't pay a congestion charge and the hotel price was cheaper too.
So, as a true moneysaver............I say it has to be Manchester.........pretty please.10 Dec 2007 - Led Zeppelin - I was there. :j :cool2: I wear my 50 (gold/red/white) blood donations pin badge with pride. Give blood, save a life. 0 -

Ooh, I missed the Poll too, but would definitely vote for Manchester, for the same reasons as Mr and Mrs Nile, as well as it being a bit easier to get to for Mr and Mrs Thrift.0

I agree with Mrs Thrift."This site is addictive!"

yeah it was a bit unfair to run it when people were on a christmas break
I am with glad - recount!!!!!! or re poll - or just have it in manchester anyway
or phrase it differently maybe - who would NOT go to a manchester or london meet.... might prove interesting.Blah0 -
Just back from a very wet and windy North and Manchester is as far as I can afford to go ;D0
