Last year we held the MoneySavingExpert 1st birthday party in March in London. Where do you fancy this year? Everyone is invited. Apologies it's only a choice of two, but that's the best logistics we can manage. Please only vote for a place if you are genuinely likely to come.
a. Manchester
b. London
c. Neither suit I'm afraid.

I voted for London because it's closest for me. However, if it were Manchester, then I'm sure that I'd be able to find a cheap hotel room from somewhere.....Sealed Pot Challenge #021 #8 975.71 #9 £881.44 #10 £961.13 #11 £782.13 #12 £741.83 #13 £2135.22 #14 £895.53 #15 £1240.40 #16 £1805.87 #17 £1820.01 declared0

London is best for me as I live here hehehe
But would travel if I have the time.
Only thing: on 11th March we have a semi-finalised York meet for the Old Style people, could the anniversary party be on another day please?
Thanks!!!
CaterinaFinally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).0 -
As the 'unofficial' MSE social in Manchester in November was such a roaring success, it would be rude not to have the 'official' MSE party in Manchester too.
So MANCHESTER gets my voteMortgage Feb 2001 - £129,000
Mortgage July 2007 - £0
Original Mortgage Termination Date - Nov 2018
Mortgage Interest saved - £63790.60
ISA Profit since Jan 1st 2015 - 98.2% (updated 1 Dec 2020)0 -
Well, Manchester is where our industrial-based economy originated. It's also less far for people in the north to travel. So let's all meet there 8)Nice to save.0

There is also a Northern Ireland meet planned for the week after (19th March).
I suppose Manchester is easier for Northern/Scottish elements. Either.Torgwen.....................
