back again.... very excited as my PAD for today so far is £32.37. Just realised that over the last 3 days i have managed to pay £70.58 towards my debt. Will hopefully be paying some more off later when i transfer some wages over from business account.

Have so far this afternoon managed to sort through a pile of paperwork that was ever increasing. Its now all filed away. Next i am going to make myself some PADS of where i am paying this money off too. I have a spreadsheet of it (i have sreadsheets for eveything lol) but just incase my comp conks out one day!!

OH took £10 out for his lunch today but called to say he has £5 of it to pop into the sealed pot!! He is learning quick!! So that will bump todays figures up.

Paying these debts off is almost as addictive as it was building them up!! :rotfl:

    Right I will plod on.

Hello! And congratulations! :T You seem to be doing amazingly well already. You're inspiring me to try listing some clothes and books myself this weekend, so I think I'll subscribe so as to be able to give the odd cheer, and to keep me on my toes :A

Ah GM thanks for subscribing, it def gives me more motivation to pay more money off!! its as if i have people to report too :D

Spent the evening giving the living room a coat of paint, so my living room looks lovely and fresh now.

Looking good on the ebay front....looks like i will have made at least a £10 fingers crossed by the end of the weekend.

Didnt get round to listing more things on ebay today but will def get onto it tomorrow at some point.

Have just shown OH my geeky spreadsheet highlighting how much we could potentially pay off by xmas!! We both agree that although we are fortunate not to be missing payments etc life would be full of alot more fun the sooner we pay it off. Although he doesnt share my enthusiasm for spreasheets....secretly i think he was impressed. :p

Anyhow, im whacked and heading to bed.....looking forward to paying some more debts off tomorrow :T

  • My godness, you are steaming ahead with paying these debts off!!! well done for paying off so much yesterday!!!!!

Your situation sounds so much like mine, it was my house (and car's engine blowing up the night before i was induced with ds2) that has put us in debt. Before we moved we only had a manageable £5k which if i had found this site earlier would of been paid off in no time............................and my OH had never had a credit card of a loan before he met me, hell he didnt even have a proper debit card, he paid for everything with cash!!!!!:o oops!

How old is your little one?

Keep up the good work, another subscriber here!!!!

    morning all, morning diary!

rags - my little one is 15months old, she is a little tinker but the bestest thing ever! lucky me she has just gone down for her morning nap again! fingers crossed i have an hour to myself. She doesnt sleep past 5am in the morning! So im always up with the birdies.

well so far today i have cleaned downstairs and washed my laundry and whacked it on the line. just doing a bit of paying off now......so far today here is what ive paid:- £64.54 to lloyds & £2.25 to the saving account. Total so far for today = £66.79.

need to go into town after but once ive done that i will prob make a few more payments later today. I have worked out that after all min payments have gone out and direct debits, we will be left with around £980 spare - to live off and whack of debts! its a big figure and im more than aware how easily we waste this money across the month so this is a new month and a new start. Going to give OH his pocket money (lol) and then i can use the rest for bills and food. Will sit down later and see where is best to spend it and how much each day. would personally like to pay smaller chunks off each day so that i stay focused. Think if i paid a lump sum off then had to wait til payday again it wouldnt work for me. We shall see.

    hope all is well.
    Speak later.

    Afternoon posting time!

Wel an early summary for me as i think i am done for the day in terms of making payments. Very wary its the weekend so hanging onto a few pennies...hopefully i wont spend them and i can use them to whack of debts sat and sun....but for today my totals are coming in as follows:-

Paid of debt £99.72 Put in savings £9.25 So a total of £108.97 for me today. :T

A good days work i think! Knowing me i will be back later adding more :rotfl:

Paid another £35.18 to virgin today because i saw they had lowered our credit limit by £100....not that i want to use it.....just made me a bit red...cant wait til there cleared and i can stick two fingers up and cancel my account!!!

Had to go to town so meant i had to take money out the bank to pay for car parking.....so as soon as i got back i put all the change £7 into my sealed pot so that i couldnt get at it and waste it on rubbish!!

Right time to see what i can put on ebay!!
    B back later.

Right i've just done our SOA....and am right in thinking we have £954 to whack off debts after everything has been paid!! So now i need to work out where this money dwindles away!! Am going to start a spending diary as suggested by epsilondraconis (sp??).
