I'm quite a new money-saver, and for the past few months have been trying to be really good, having lots of clear outs. I set myself a challenge in May and made £600 selling clothes and shoes on ebay. Clothes mainly Topshop, River Island, Karen Millen and Miss Sixty, Shoes mainly Dune, Faith, KG and Carvela. Trying to do another round of selling in the next few weeks, but I do find it really hard to organise the posting. I'm not lazy, but I leave house 7am, get home 7pm, rarely have a lunch break and can hardly squeeze in delivering parcels to post office!

Yes the posting is a pain, esp when there's a queue at the post office, and I work long hours too so it's difficult to fit in but worth it when you have a healthy Paypal balance.

Also (is it just me?:o) I'm very uncomfortable taking too many parcels at once to the Post Office so have been known to go to 3 different ones and sending say 5 parcels at each...must be mad, it takes even longer but I just can't bring myself to hand in 15 parcels at once.

I feel really uncofortable doing it aswell but we have 2 post offices in town the main one is where I normally go but the other is just down the road (its a tiny little one) so sometimes I split the parcels between the 2 :o

I have 2 local post offices - one near work & one near home - that I take my parcels to. Both are quite happy to take the Paypal postage ones too, even if their sales are down, they get the volume of parcels over the counter.

My main problem is receiving parcels - I've been known to go & collect 3 or 4 at once at 7.45 in the morning on my way to work! I used to have a fab postie who would leave them either at my brothers house across the road or in my paper recyling bin, but then again I had known him for 30 years since we were at school together! Sadly I moved away up to the Lancashire coast, & now I am never in when the postie calls :(

Glad it's not just me Vixi:D. Some people don't seem bothered but it's really annoying getting stuck behind the person with dozens of parcels so I try and spread the load. Hope you got lots listed, I photographed some things today and will list them tomorrow, I'm aiming for enough to buy a tent for a few cheap breaks this August.

Okay, I'm done - listed 26 items - mostly 99p to start, but hoping for £50-£100 within 7 days. Fingers crossed!

Good luck with your listings lucy*locket;)
