I had a parcel of baby tights delivered to my mother's house today, and apparently they're horrible. They're grey instead of white, they have dirty feet and they're all bobbly.
I'm really upset. More so because my mother made an executive decision to throw them away, but also because they were grubby.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Complain & leave appropriate feedback. Otherwise the seller will pull the same stunt on someone else.2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

I bid on and won a red leather handbag over the weekend. It duly arrived and it's not leather. Now I didn't pay a great ddeal for it and am happy with it at the price I paid but it is significantly not as described.
I don't want someone else to fall foul of this seller by massively overbidding. Personally I would leave neutral feedback saying happy with item however not leather as described. Well that is of course if you are happy with the item. If not I would contact them to get it sorted and then leave negative feedback.
I am just after receiving an email from a seller who I bought something off on 7th July (paid 10 days ago) and who I have contacted 3 times about this item not arriving. The last email I sent said that if I didnt hear from them by today then I felt I had no option but to open an item not received dispute!
This morning I have an email from them saying that they have been out of the country and will post it tomorrow!! Makes me sooooo mad  I am a reasonable person and would have been fine if they had told me this from the beginning but the lack of comms has made me very crossEmma

I would contact them via Ebay, saying that the item is not leather (but check the description first!)and ask what they propose to do. Then see what is offered, and either raise a dispute, leave neg feedback or accept a refund. If a refund is offered, I usually leave something like "good communication, let down by item" and adjust the star rating accordingly.0 -
I buy and sell the odd bit of clothing on eBay - I have a well stocked wardrobe but not overstocked - I'm not one of these 3 wardrobe women with further unworn clothes stuffed in carrier bags around the house
(I know some like it though
) When selling I always keep in mind what would attract me to an auction as a buyer/what info I would be looking for e.g. fairly decent photograph, condition e.g. new/hardly worn etc, size, measurements sometimes (usually if it's a dress or pair of trousers). I usually sell using the Buy It Now option as that way I can insist on immediate payment by Paypal (no chasing for payment) plus I found that with the very odd exception where two bidders would get into a bidding war on something, that I generally get a bit more for items sold on a B-I-N. I generally only sell stuff that is new (very rarely though as I am not one of these impulsive buyers, I buy what I really want and what fits, so want to get value for money) or I have only worn once or twice - anything else goes to the charity shop.
