Well I did email her back to nicely suggest she might make an offer, in the meantime someone started the bidding, so she said that means you can't do BIN
Really must read up some of the "rules" :wall:
Thanks for your answers, ladies!
Then she's going to have to take her chances then......she may end up paying a bit more than her offer would have been if she really wants them2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

Have just spent quite a bit of time listing quite a few things on Turbo Lister & tried to upload, but got an error message about "not a valid leaf category".....
Guess I'm going to have to do it all again into Ebay & I wanted to watch last night's Torchwood before tonight's episode......
Have posted the question on the Ebay board, but has anyone here got any clues?
Thanx, Floss x
Not sure abpout that but last night I tried to list some things and the photo uploader just wouldn't work. Tried the normal one, the basic one and the only one I could get to work was the self hosting one. I was getting so annoyed that I had to give up otherwise I think I would've gone mad.
Will have to try again tonight. Was just rather pee'd off as I had much more time yesterday to list stuffOne day Rodney we'll be millionaires£2020 in 2020 - Running Total £170 -
Floss, i had the same problem, something to do with ebay changing their catergories. The only way i found around it was too download turbolister again, it meant i lost everthing on my inventory tho

Hi Guys,
I have been a lurker for a couple of years now and finally registered. I have lots of clothes I am clearing out most of them highstreet names but some Diesel and 'more expensive' names. I was wondering if anyoen knew of anyone or a company that would sell them for me and take a slice of the profit for it? I am not expecting them to go for much but any extra counts. If there were any MSEs that were doing that sort of thing that would be great because then I would know the other part of the profit was to go to a good cause.
Any ideas?

I've sold loads on Ebay!
Best sellers are BABY/KIDS CLOTHES!
Especially if they're from NEXT
Women's clothes do sell but expect peanuts, then you won't be disappointed
Unless of course they are of designer quality.
I'd say my biggest disappointment of things that DON'T really sell are jeans.
The average price for a pair of ladies jeans is usually around the £4 - £6 mark
But my niche has got to be TRAINERS! The more unusual, the better!
I've sold trainers (in excellent condition of course!) for twice of what I originally paid for them. It's mad! :eek:0 -
Well, just an update really and a BIG :T thank you to everyone who contributed to this thread. Your clever advice has got me going on the ebay road and am pleased to report I have just made my first £100 on ebay...... not selling anything particularly sensational either , mostly on decent quality basic stuff that has been hanging round the house for a while!
So thanks all for your help:A:A:A:A:A0 -
Glad to hear it! I just sold a Kaliko dress & jacket I'd bought to wear for a wedding later this year....paid £4.50 as it was marked, from a charity shop in Cardiff....one hand wash & careful iron later, it had 26 watchers and went for £48.50
Almost 1000% profit!

Well, you're inspirational, Floss!!
I've decided the ebay pot is going to be my holiday fund, so that's my motivation. Just gota keep selling not buying!(Just one £5 purchase to date.... for a £55 clutch bag needed to fill a wardrobe gap!!)0 -
Bronnie, back in January i spent nearly every night for a fortnight in my neighbours house helping her ebay her huge colection of shoes (48 pairs ebayed) and lots and lots of clothes, all good brands, most with labels and the same thing in different colours. She is the same size shoe and clothes as me and she very kindly gave me a few bits. She sed i could have anything i wanted but i restarained myself and kept it within my capsule
She now has close to £1000 in her ebay account and i am very proud of my prodigy (she called me her taskmaster lol). She is adorable and i have adopted her as my second mum. I can't be faffed with ebay atm but i have fits and starts with it anyway. She said that most of what she has ebayed would have previously charity shopped, so she is delighted with it.
Well done Bronnie, before ebay what would you have done with it???? At least now it's turning into cash!

Well done Bronnie, Ebay is great, whenever I want to make a few bob for something I sort out some clothes and sell them, I know sometimes they only sell for a low amount but some sell for much more and it soon adds up.
I'm hoping to buy a tent in a couple of weeks for some cheap holidays so I have a large bag of clothes to be listed which are my tent money. The target is £200 so gingers crossed I'm as successful as you:D0
