Granny I doubt all of that's a 'real' gain - in a couple of days I bet at least some has disappeared. Fingers crossed :)

Dinah, I don't belong to a gym but I usually exercise at least 1-2 hours a day 6 days a week. I love getting out and about cross country jogging, walking, inline skating and cycling. I have gym equipment at home (3x basic cardio machines, free weights) but they don't get used very much in the summer. If I really am stuck at home, I find rope skipping a decent workout :) Shame about the pool and ice rink but at least they should be lovely when the work is finished. Are there any others within reach?

Been having a bra fitting this morning - usual story, they tried loads on me, nothing fits  That's the third time in 18 months I've come away with two bras I absolutely HATE the colour/style of because they were the only thing "close enough" to a good fit :( So disappointing :(

You know sometimes in life there is a perfect moment that money cannot buy, my fences are up, took 3 weeks and a whole lot of work but they are up and they are high, higher than the allowed 6 foot 6 because our garden is stepped and the next door neighbours is decked and stepped also so the man we asked said that it goes from the base of the stepping up so it ends up higher, anyway, was out there on the bench with my drink and the paper not being over looked, not being bugged every two seconds by two jumping naked kids on their trampoline saying 'hello, can you see me? Hello, what are you doing? Hello, I am jumping' (I know naked:rolleyes:) I could hear them next door but could not see them and it was pure bliss:D my garden is mine now, I can go out there day or night and do things, hang washing, garden, plant, anything and no one not the neighbours or their friends can look over be nosy and stop me from enjoying it:D it is so perfect:D

Then I went out the front to put the rubbish in the wheelie bin and there they all were, mum and two naked kids on their front drive way washing the car, I said hello came back in and smiled some more that never again do I have to put up with it in the garden, bliss:D

We even got rid of our kids trampoline, old and knackered so that we have more garden space, not that I would ever allow my kids to trampoline naked, they still do but there's is a lot lower than ours so we don't see their heads bopping

I don't eat any pre-packeted food so those wouldn't be much use to me, it's the loving to cook that is my downfall as I think of or see these recipies that I just can't wait to try out! Not going to be entertaining for a while now though so hopefully will get back on the straight and narrow. Going to Italy in the first week of October so would like to be over the halfway hump by then.

I was meaning that all the desserts or food you love to cook for your friends and family can still be made but the lower fat, cals, sugar versions, there are many books for low fat entertaining, still a huge pleasure to cook from scratch but instead of adding double cream find a replacement etc:D

Just had a lovely time shopping in Westfield. Went with kids, sis and her kids and mum. We ate out (I was very good) and mum footed the bill! Feel very virtuous after the pilates last night - back still, good a few achy muscles and a big bruise on my bum (?) but feeling goooooood!

Read over a few post and I was sorry to here about your grandad KPC.
    Big hug!
    I would if I could but I can't so I won't!
