Thanks Sary, I will take lots of pics, especially as I've just paid a fortune to get my SLR fixed! I also have a camcorder now so will be bringing the Himalayas home with me :D
This trip comes after a long illness so I am really excited about it as it symbolises the start of the next stage in my life :j If you love travelling, there is always a way to save enough to make it happen - we've lived on very small sums of money the last few years and have still travelled/are doing this trip/will always travel :D:D:D

Sorry off topic peeps, slinking off now to dream of all the weight I'll lose eating dahl baht...;)

Yay found the new thread quickly for once!!

Had a lovely picnic with my friends yesterday and ate rubbish but not too worried as my exercise is happening regularly again and I seem to be loosing again but obviously didn't make a habit of it. Although I'm wondering if the junk food caused my extreme tiredness this morning - I'm sure I had a pretty good night's sleep (woke up once but don't remember lying awake just rolled over) but I felt like I'd been awake all night this morning, yawning my head off in work etc. Still feel pretty knackered now and half contemplating a second run to try and wake myself up again but I have a list of jobs to do and want to try a new time management technique to see if I achieve more than normal. I'm also fairly sure my dodgy internet connection will help a bit too!
Right now to persuade myself to go for a proper dinner.

aargh, was wondering why i wasn't getting notified of new posts :rotfl: nice new shiny thread.

    So from start til now:

    3 Stone 6 pounds loss.

    Total for June 2 pounds.

    This week STS.

Pretty good day here, not had crisps!!!! i did have 2 starburst sweets tho, i can't go a whole day without being a little naughty :rotfl:

Have my water at the ready for at work tomorrow, so i won't visit the vending machines. Thnx for advice on other thread, i don't think it's a change i'm needing tbh, i think i'm just needing to stick to what i'm doing and get a little more exercise in. I really don't think i'm doing enough.

But in saying that, I am determined to get that weight off for August. I won't get away on holiday this summer, but I am planning a weekend away in Germany with some online friends, some of which i have never met before. Would hate for them to think of me as a fat bastid! Ofc it will be nice for the old friends who haven't seen me for a year or two to think i aint fat bastid any more either :rotfl:

So plz keep up with all your good advice, all your motivational stories and keep us all going strong.

BrightonBelle - Silly Question for u, do u live in Brighton? I used to live down there myself and am rather nosy as to where you are.
    4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j

Great run raph - how are you finding your new toy?
Loving it :) The graphs are brill and it's great to go for a run without worrying about mapping it on mapmyrun for the milage :D

Raph - you seem to have a natural talent for running, you definitely have a decent turn of speed! Even if I gave it everything I've got I know I couldn't do a 2hr half marathon. Hope you enjoyed your long run :)
I did enjoy it, thanks :) it was nice to have the time rather than trying to squeeze a run in before work or something :)

I hope no one minded me taking the responsibility for starting the new thread? I know Raph did it last time, but as she does the chart, and seems so busy, I just thought I'd help out. I must admit it took me about half an hour to figure out how to get the linky in for LW26 - I'm am simply a techno wizard now in my head! ha ha
No worries :D thanks for that. I usually do it around the 2000 post as the mods don't like threads to go over 2000 posts.
I am very busy at the moment, I'm happy to do the chart for the rest of this month but does anyone want to take it over starting from July?

A 2.9 lb gain for me this week, but my fat % has gone down to 22.6% and muscle has gone up to 33.8% :D

  • I did not weigh in last week (too busy climbing mountains in the snow :rotfl:) so this is more of a 2 week weigh in, reporting a gain of 2.6lb on 13392 + 18895 calories.

Over the course of the 2 weeks my exercise was reduced to 9 days out of the 14 and only totalled 3540 calories burned.

My eating increased due to several meals out as I was camping, stove did not work so had to go to the local - very good food. The exercise was reduced because I climbed Sca Fell and had several days 'recovery' and 2 days travelling.

The gain of 2.6lb has motivated me into eating less and exercising more. I've had a good start this week, hiking nearly 16 miles over the weekend.

    FFM :)

0.6kg gain for me - fully expected and deserved, but it's the last one now - at least the last one that i get by falling off the wagon.

BBelle, OH may join the same group as me, but will probably join another one, and i'll have joint membership too. The group i'm going to is very strict about authenticity, and OH doesn't take kindly to being told what to do - gets very contrary. I'm up at Knaresborough castle this sunday if anyone's in the vicinity.

welcome back Kenny - great advice for you there from missy.
