Well all my best laid plans for today went up the creek..lol. I have done absolutely nothing since we got back from food shopping lunchtime, apart from tidy up the kitchen and watch Dh fill up all the containers outside with water from the water butt.. :D Afraid I fell asleep while watching something on t.v., funny thing is it was something I wanted to watch and for the life of me I cannot tell you what it was. Gods my memory is like a sieve..:(

Am sitting here on the sofa, listening to Alan Carr on the radio till 8pm, and smelling next doors barbeque and the cigarette smoke. Oooh Dh is dishing up my pizza, he is having cheese tortellini - I didn't fancy that so went for cheesy pizza :)

I am a bit miffed as I did the washing earlier, and it came over all dark and thundery so I held off putting the washing out. But it didn't do anything - no rain or thunder. Now I have wet washing still in the machine.. Hopefully tomorrow I can put it out to dry, fingers crossed. :)

Rosepink where are you off to tomorrow, and how long are you going for hon?

    Hi Guys,
Hope you dont mind me joining you. I have been reading your posts over the weeks. I am currently off work as i have been quite ill since September 08. Im lucky as I have a lovely lady who is helping me with the heavy housework but still have to do loads of washing and ironing as have 4 kids - 18, 17, 15 & 13. I totally empathise with everyone who has issues cos Ive got them too!!!!!

I have to pace myself and so try to do a few bits everyday. I made a lovely cake for my dad today and another for my husband for fathers day. trying to save money big time at the moment. Tomorrow im going to dust and declutter my kids rooms (I know they should do it!!!!) and cook a nice dinner to celebrate Father's Day.
Hope you all have a restful evening.
    Molly

Molly, your kids are old enough to help out, get them to do their rooms, or withhold such items as wii / laptops / mp3 etc till it is done.

We are going to stay at Mum and Dad's while they are away to look after their bunny but also to have a break ourselves and enjoy a bit more space! We are going until next Saturday, but I will probably pop on here a bit to keep an eye on you all! I'll have to do some flying on Friday to make sure it's nice there for when they come home. I'm so looking forward to getting away. We are leaving late afternoon tomorrow.

Glad you've had a restful day Natty, take care of yourself sweetheart

Welcome to the thread Molly, nice to have you joining in

Where has the day gone. Still not done much in the way of flying so I'm going to do a HHC 7:15and then get DS3 ready for bed.

Dusty - what did you do with your peaches in the end? I have some to use up too.
Rosepink - have a great break.
Valli - you set me off listening to 'old' music too. Combined with a long chat with my friend Chardonnay this is probably a bad idea but who cares? Not maudlin though - I regret nothing!

I did them as an Eve's Pudding - all gone. It was very nice although the kids weren't as keen as when it is with apples - could be an association thing or the fact that they don't really like peaches:rotfl:meant me and DH got two bits each rather than the whole lot disappear in one hit.

    Where did today go?!!

Washing dried nicely outside as it was sunny most of the day - it has just started drizzling now. Have done some flying (including me time watching Grand Prix qualifying) and ........ *drum roll please* ........ have set up the Sports Active on the Wii and did my first workout :D Next one is due tomorrow so I hope I don't ache too much

rach - welcome back; hope you had a good time and that you feel better soon

OJK - you do make me laugh :rotfl:

SSL - you can substitute the windows with another job if you are unable to do them so you can still get your stars

greenbee - for a moment I wasn't sure if that was a recipe or a rude suggestion :p

    Molly - welcome

I need to update my list now as I feel at least one star is waiting for me ;)
