Can't afford to now so good job we are in a smaller house. LOLTo love and be loved is the greatest happiness of existance - Sydney Smith0

Eventually got my replies done fro last nite - I know i could have forgotten them but you all know what I am like I like to keep up - its the old perfectionism bit again - and I really was getting that under control a bit:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:
thats appaling behaviour from a manager Boddy - I hope the senior manager helps.
nikflo cant be easy with a LO 'helping' - but.... its a good time to start training them:rotfl::rotfl: make sue you get them to help put their stuff away at the end of the day - even if its just one thing it will become a good habit. Glad you are feeling good about your house.funfairprincess wrote: »
and well done with the rabbit jelly - looks fab and HRH looks lovely - thanks for sharingI found that I have more in common with the people on this thread than anybody from around my neck of the woods
huston honey - to hell with what they think - be true to yourself If its right for you then it doesnt matter about the rest. I think carlsberggals advice was great -
"Huston-kw – don’t let them get you down, it would be a boring world if we were all the same. Smile sweetly and say something like ‘well that’s your opinion and I appreciate your comments but on this occasion I don’t believe you are right’ – that will shut them up!"
good to see you are feeling a bit better and the inspection went well - just think the next time its due you wont have to be running around like a mad thing because you will be a good flylady and be doing the lists weekly!:D
tiamai_d - I hope you are getting the rest - listen to your doctor honey.
soappie thats fantastic news about the appeal - I am delighted for you and your client!!!:T:T
lil_me - you are a naughty flylady staying up until 4am - mind you thats the sort of thing I used to do!!im back ....yipeee its all done lol....another wash and dryer on ...does it breedin the night ? lol i might do another hhc now otherwise i will just sit here reading lol
carlsberggal how did the trip to the dentist go? did you die - you had better not have !!!!
feefeelalabelle you were on a roll yesterday - very well done and thats brilliant about your ironing basket - you will be joinging our new year eve's challenge will you? The aim is to have an empty ironing basket on New Year's Eve.
It's AnW's Mum's challenge and anyone can join - (I must make a list as I have forgotten who have pledged to do it apart from her and me, Froddy (I think)) and AnW'sMum has been keeping her basket empty already but she also has to have it empty before her birthday which is before Christmas so the New year Challenge should be a doddle to her:rolleyes::rolleyes:
:rotfl: And she is aiming to complete her dot2dot cleaning of the house by then too so she is well motivated:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Anyone else want to put their name on the Empty Ironing Basket Challenge for new Year's Eve - plenty time to work up to it!!!
Polly glad you have heard from DD - try to not worry - well not as much as usual.
phizzimum hi and welcome to the thread - I have sent you a pm which I hope helps but if not feel free to ask!
toochoosey sounds like you needed a break from the rushing about to get to the caravan and hopefully it will give you and DD time to sort things out a bit - be strong and dont give as much as you do honey (well done I see you started at the school fete) - I am sure she will come round
serena (((hugs))) he will realise in time that your are shouting at him because you love him and want him to do well for his own sake. And dont you dare blame yourself for him not doing his work - he is old enough to take responsibility for his own actions IMHO - dont mean to offend you honey. I know he wasnt well and he struggles sometimes and thats what you are doing - supporting him like a loving caring Mum does but he has to apply himself a bit too.
DD's dress sounds lovely - if she is quite small made would she get away with the body tape to keep her boobs in place- its not seen and is about £5 a roll I think.
poohbear sorry to hear your elbow is giving you grief - hope it gets better soon.
SS supergirl glad you survived the day with your Mum!!;)
pigpen just to say I am thinking of you - squishy hugs from a distance - and what a 'twerp' as you put it - I am really sorry to hera he is not doing his bit with the children - i see the others have all given you brilliant advice - the best of it all is to keep a diary of EVERYTHING!
I belive in 'what goes around comes around' - he will get his comeuppance in due time! What would happen if he took the children out and brought them back at the time he wanted to bring them back and you werent there - what would he do - would he leave them on their own?
How's bunny?
Only 9 days give or take!!!!!!
thats brilliant news that hazy is getting about better - it will just take her a wee while to adjust and I am sure she will be as mad as ever - maybe even worse!!!
Mrs Beatson have you read the stardrops thread?

greenbee another tosspot manager -:mad: I hope you wont have to put up with him for much longer. (((hugs)))
milliejo thats great that DH commented on house nice the house was looking - it gives you a nice boost - well done on all your hard work - he could have at least brought some of the sunshine back with him:rotfl:
froddy I havent got any extra buttons either
mumofjusttwo thats lovely that you are getting your kitchen sorted and what a lovely flylady Flower and Dh are for helping - true MSE style.
Honey you are needing to get that ex of yours sorted too - that is ridiculous to only be seeing them for 2 long weekends - have you thought about getting legal adivce to make it more formal. Its up to him to make suitable arrangements to have them or he will end up not seeing them at all. he could always take them to a hotel for the night:rolleyes:- he shouldnt expect to be able to stay at yours.(((hugs)))
LilySue I am glad the others have helped with the 15yo problems - out of my league I am afraid  but we are always here and sometimes just getting it down on paper/screen helps to put it in perspective a bit - I was taught to write down problems to get them out of my head and it works! Often once i have written it down - all the nitty gritty details and how I feel and then read it back I think 'what was I getting so worked up about' - shred the paper and the problem with it.
now to catch up on today!!!:rotfl:
toots xxPeace will be mine

OH has been really kind today. I thought this morning that my headache was due to over-sleeping last night. As the day got on I start to feel worse and worse, so at 2pm I went to lie down, I didn't get up until 7.35pm. What a surprise I got when I walk downstairs and the children were tucked up in bed (he's read them their stories as well), the dishes done and kitchen S&S, the dining room hovered, the house is spotless! I told him that he's officially a flyboy and yous would all be proud. He is now at asda with his mam (I normally go) as he hates shopping, bless him.
Soapie I'm please you and ds had a good time.
Rosepink, hope you still come on and chat while at your mam and dads having your break. I enjoy reading your posts!
froddington, what are the wii fits like? I go to the gym and do exercise dvds but I tend to get bored really easy. I was thinking of getting one but no one I know has one, not that I know many people tho.
toots - I fully understand why you where missed so much when you where in hospital, you are a treasure!0 -

I think the majority of it is that I have had 3 months without a break at all and I am starting to get a severe case of cabin fever and feel very much like he is enjoying himself while I am at home with the children.. I don't begrudge the fact I am with them but I just don't see why he feels it is ok that he shouldn't have them for a little longer or bring them home and put them to bed.. other than it interferes with his social life.. sadly it is social SKILLS he requires.
I belive in 'what goes around comes around' - he will get his comeuppance in due time! What would happen if he took the children out and brought them back at the time he wanted to bring them back and you werent there - what would he do - would he leave them on their own? probably, after ringing me and screaming at me.. then my mother then probably my sister tooo
How's bunny? a little better I think he has eaten some currants and a slice of apple so something is at least going in
Only 9 days give or take!!!!!!those are the first words DD1 says to me each morning with her infamous countdown!.. actually.. got a fab pic from them today.. if i can find my cable I'll see if I can get it off my phone to show y'all
thats brilliant news that hazy is getting about better - it will just take her a wee while to adjust and I am sure she will be as mad as ever - maybe even worse!!! She is getting cabin fever too.. she has been wandering about the house all day.. I'll cage her again tonight.. and has had a lovely time sleeping on beds and stairs and drinking from taps and toilets!
toots xx
beastlets off out with him (to church) in the morning and he's supposed to be bringing them back about 5 for their dinner.. so I can bath them, put them to bed and he can go out... again... he has 'tickets' after all..:rolleyes:LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0
