the end is nigh......
our barrister reviewed the complete case and met with the opposing barrister last week. on his advice the outcome is an out of court settlement of £15,000 :T and the Equality Commission will be visiting the company to review its policies (or lack of). My wife will receive a factual reference from the company and it has instructed all its directors/managers not to be discussing my wife in future with anyone.
my wife wanted to go to the tribunal but the barrister said it was 50-50 and would be very intense for her. he praised my wifes handling of the case in terms of her thoroughness and he was able to get such a high settlement becuase of this. he warned the other side that my wife wud have no problems handling a tribunal and what wud come out publicly wud not be nice for them
so the long process has came to a satisfactory end. thanks to everyone on here who offered advice and support.0 -
