Hmmm, sounds interesting. Ocht well, I'll just HAVE to try it now to make your posting worth the while. ;-) Drat! Drat! DRAT!!!!! And I don't think: how easily the weak are swayed, huh?
My son made us all a curry on Tuesday just past. That was really good. It was his girlfriend's birthday: thay had also become engaged that afternoon. What a meal and with all the trimmings. He did some crispy caramelised onions as one of the garnishes: delicious.
If I say so myself, I trained him well, me thinks.0 -

Yes we are looking at getting out to Dundee looking foward to that ....

Have you tried a day out further along the coast to feed the swans, Lancy? Forget about watching local footy. It's like watching paint dry in the Fylde Coast sunday league...ha haa..!!0

Now now, mannie, you don't sound like you've given Scotland a fair chance.
if you have a trade you will find work up north: no probs. They (my wee bro, for instance) are desperate for good tradesmen up around the Ballachulish/Kinlochleven/Lochaber area and it is incredibly beautiful to boot. Get bored up there and there's something far wrong with you.0 -
If i really told people what i thought of Scotland id be chased over the border in a flash ! Beautifull it most def is , in the 21st century it certainly isnt !

Everytime I think of Kirkaldy I think of Billy Connolly and the linoleum.
He thought it should be renamed ''What’s that f***ing smell?” :rotfl:0 -
I had a fantastic time in Jackio's (Kirkaldy) during my RN days in Rosyth. The place was crawling with nurses. Had to laugh when we were anchored off at BurntIsland one day and I was called to the bridge to take a telephone call from one of them. Never been done before that one. Every credit to the lass.
Really enjoyed it in Fife. Only downside was that most pubs sold some sort of dishwater that they'd renamed Tartan Special. It was impossible to get !!!!!! on that stuff.
Oh Yeah....what about Jockey on the ockey? Wasn't he from Killcoddy?0 -
My father used to live in Anstruther (typo?) wonderful fish & chips there, I'd treat yourself to a fish supper there.
I love your part of the world, beautiful place.0
