Got my free sample yesterday, and have got a wash in at the moment. Don't usually get much lather in the machine - economy wash and all that - but with the soapnuts I can't see any bubbles at all. Anyone else noticed this?0

Claire (nice lady who replied to my email) said I shoudl try them on DS#2s nappies as they will work.
So gonna wait for the rest of my sample and put all that in HWTHMBOs sock adn see what happens.
I emailed for a free sample and they said they no longer do free samples, you have to buy the £2.50 sample bag now!!£2 Saver Club (started 24th March '06) going towards No. 2 Son Cub trip!!
20p Saver Club (started 11th April '06) Grand Total = £135.00 Paid to Akela0 -
I've emailed twice and had no reply. The first time was the 10th April when others seem to have got a response- the sample! I'm as genuine as anyone else and would purchase after a try if happy (I rarely use powder as it is). It seems to be just luck how this company responds. I am sure, though, that this is one of those times when getting your interest would often lead to many, many purchases- such is the nature of laundry!0

Actually I was wondering about this myself the first couple of washes I did I had nothing but then I did another and had a few v. v. small bubbles.
I was wondering whether having no bubbles meant that there wasn't enough nuts in there of having some meant there was too many nuts in there0 -
I think Black Saturn posted in this thread somewhere about them not lathering up.
Maybe another email to them to ask if they are suppose to lather?just in case you need to know:

The amount of bubbles in any soap or detergant has absolutely no bearing on its cleaning power .
Allthough soaps by nature are high foaming commercial detergants are nearly all low foaming and a foaming agent is added to make domestic customers think it is superior product .
Its all in the mind !0 -
