Next sale?

watch your delivery note dates - i always thought you had 10 days from delivery for returns but it appears its 10 days from order date, so if your courier takes 3 days to get items to you, then you only have 7 days to get them back to Next

Just had an assistant refuse to take my returns, because delivery note states order date 16th July, whereas i didnt have them delivered until 18th. Argued the toss, and they finally took them, but said keep an eye on my account, as Next might not allow them. which i take it means, i dont get a refund, nor the items, as i doubt they get returned to me

I had the same argument instore last sale, explained only received the day before , I have contacted Next Customer Services on this occasion as still some outstanding items on my order and 1 of them is if to decide whether or not i need 1 size or the other so best to let them know, later i am going to tell them what i am still awaiting

I have been wary of that in the past but have always been ok. That said, if a SA refused me on something that has taken 5 weeks to be delivered, I would be extremely angry.

I have to say my local store doesnt seem to worry about this when I ordered from the directory at full pruce last month & was unable tio return within 7 days due to being ill I took them back about 2 weeks later & was ready for a fight but they didnt bat an eyelid??

i suppose it all depends on whether the sales assistant bothers to check the date. this is the first time, ive had one actually get a calendar and work out the 10days

However, the assistant did say, after checking with her manager, that they would accept the returns, but to check my next statement, because although they have taken the returns, it doesnt necessarily mean Next will credit them to the account

Well if they have the goods presumably they have to credit your account as they've accepted them back, I'm sure it'll all be fine!!:o

I ordered on the VIP thursday eve and have recieved all but one item which had said it was on a 3-4 day delay, it's well past that now but Next have said they are still waiting for it to come in and they can't give me a timeframe??
Do you think I'll still get it? It was the one thing I really wanted, a CD/ipod micro system! How long will they wait to get it in before cancelling my order?

Thanks for any replies, this is my first Next sale order!!

I also queried a few outstanding items and was advised that they cannot guarantee they will now be delivered. The assistant said they will write to me to let me know if they are not coming but it could be the end of September / October!!

I had a problem that my sale order all went through at full price but now, after numerous phone calls, I think everything has now been sorted out. I am been stressing about it all so really pleased it all seems ok now.

The longest I waited for a next vip ordered item was 3 months!! I forgot about it thought it wouldnt arrive, then it just turned up!!
