I am not doubting that Bob Paisley achieved a great amount of tropheys in a short period. Part of that will do with a time and a place.
However you cannot deny that Sir Alex has won more tropheys abroad.
as they say at Lotto central, you've got to be in it to win it and Sir Alex has won more.:wall:
What we've got here is....... failure to communicate.

No, I think at his time, Zidane was by far the best player.
He just oozed class
Maldini / Ferdinand - I would probably choose Maldini
Best / Maradonna - A hard one as I generally only see them in short spaces from TV clips, but I would probably go for Best. Not because he played for Man Utd, but because from what I saw on TV, he was untouchable. It's a pity he didn't play for a better international team to compare him against international opposition more.:wall:

not the most Micky mouse trophies. Sorry you changed your angle
Paisleys record is clearly better as it was over 9 years.:D0 -
Bit prosumptious of what you will do next year:)
Only a little bit
2005 Liverpool won it and United finished bottom at the group stage, I think these results drop out next year, so presumably if United and Liverpool go out at the same stage this year United will jump above Liverpool.'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. Maradona singlehandedly took Napoli to win Serie A twice (in what at the time was the best league in the world), then took an ordinary Argentina to win the World Cup in 86 and a poor Argentina to the final in 1990.
Best on the other hand played less than 40 internationals and was effectively finished by the age of 25.
Great, great talent but should have achieved more.
"Probably Maldini" - must have been tongue in cheek.US housing: it's not a bubble

Prefer Cruyff myself (not Jordi) took Holland from a second rate footballing nation to the best team on the planet, and then there was 3 times Euro winners Ajax.'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is.
