I'm the mum of a one year old and we've been trying to reuse and recycle as much as possible for our little one.
We have reusable nappies, I've bought job lots of clothes from auction sites and we've begged and blagged toys and bits from wherever we can.
The most useful thing we've reused is those grobags - bought about four of them to date on auction sites and little one sleeps in them every night. We've got the branded ones and never paid more than a tenner including packaging.
We got a second hand bumbo which was good and a Svan high chair which looks the mutts nuts and cost half it's new price.
If you are interested in this sort of thing I've got a blog where you can follow our recycled baby story and other bits and bobs I've picked up along the way - www.recycledbaby.co.uk is where it's at and I'd love to know what you think.
Not sure if anyone has mentioned Freecycle? I have had a major clear out this year and even old magazines have been taken, My daughter has also got some good things for her flat.
