  • First proper post here....

Sun 7.7 Miles at 9.01/mile pace
Tue 3 Miles at 8.10/mile pace
Wed 5.5 Miles at 8.45/mile pace
Sat 6.3 Miles at 7.45/mile pace

Tue/Wed runs were to and from work with stupid junctions to cross and a mini rucksac. 9min/mile pace is my slow long distance pace but "long distance" isn't the right word as 7.7 miles is pretty much the longest I've ever run apart from a HM 3 years ago

Sat 10km was a faster HM pace run to see what a 1h 40min HM would feel like. Felt okayish, wasn't that exhausted but doubling it and that last km would hurt!

I'm doing the Glasgow Grea Run HM on the 6th Sep so thats my target. Old pb (2006) was 1.36 and I feel that sub 1.40 should be possible.

HAHAHA I'm sorry but if you go no a running forum and say 'its not all about the running' arent you just asking for a slap round the virtual head??

Anyway it does rather make me laugh - I use logical argument, but because I dont agree I am bullying them :p

Well she bullies me as well - so I reckon they've got her sussed pretty accurately tbh!;)

Some decent running there, ginger, although it might be a bit ambitious to get sub 1:40 on 6th Sept....but use it to put a marker down and then plan from there.

Its not bullying - its browbeating you with logic :D:D

Repeat after me 'If q is a logical truth, then p therefore q will be a valid argument' :p

I think she translates being outnumbered into the word 'bullying' instead of actually understanding what is being said and that the majority might just have a point!
