    Afternoon all!

Did a nice 4 miler in 39:00 mins in prep for my hills tomorrow - a bit stiff from yesterday but I seemed to have eased it out with the run and was getting faster at the end so thats nice :D

Hope you get out E.C :D

Just to let you guys know, I found a tip on another thread here, showing a PC World page with Garmin 305 priced at £39.97 - anyway, of course PC World are out of stock, but I printed the page out, took it to Halfords - and guess what, they price matched it! So I just bought a Garmin 305 with heart rate monitor for £39.97 Here is the link, if you want to give it a go http://www.pcworld.co.uk/martprd/editorial/Garmin-Forerunner

The Roundshaw parkrun is real close to a Halfords on Saturday!

    I'm so chuffed!

A bit mean, but I haven't posted this result anywhere else on the forum, so that you guys are in with a fighting chance.

Oh, which PC world did you get it from? Was it recently? Cool isn't it for that money!

A steadier run this morning bearing in mind I've had to rejig my training plan this week and will be doing my LSR tomorrow. It will be interesting to see how 16 miles feels without a rest day and after 3 consecutive days running. Let's hope for some rain. :D

Rich - your pulse is amazing. My OH's mum asked me if I was still running and then asked what I do when it rains - the only thing I could think of saying was 'I get wet'. :rotfl:

    Becky -
glad your run went well today and the cramp didn't reappear.

Did you manage to get out today evab?

You should be fine Simply - in fact you may well find it easier and therefore be tempted to push the pace along. If that happens try to resist and keep it nicely controlled.:D

Nope - feet up and relaxing.:D:D:D

I'm not going to argue though - if the legs want a rest after 8 consecutive training days they can have one!:D

And you know I'm lazy, so that cant come as any surprise!:p

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.
