  • And there's more ...............

May I just share with you all that my run this morning was my best run ever!!!!!! :j:j:j

After pushing myself hard on my hilly run yesterday I was expecting to feel a little tightness in my legs today but there was nothing. My legs felt really strong and it felt as though I was expending very little effort all - I must have looked quite funny as I kept grinning to myself as I ran round.

I wish I could bottle that feeling to bring out next time I'm struggling up a hill!!!!

    So ... 10k - 01:01:21 (09:48/mile) :D

I'll get back to work now and take my happy endorphins with me. Have a great day one and all - happy running :D

Blimey - how much chat today! That said I can believe what they tell kids given how dumbed down and inclusive even higher education was getting (regardless of ability) when I worked there. Don't get me started! I was also carp at running at school like pink has already highlighted for many on the thread. Hated most sports they made us play TBH but like a much wider range of things now. And I want to achieve things at them over time and also just enjoy doing them.

Some good running going on KYCU! And pink - fantastic story of support from your Mum - don't you just love Mum's

Good luck for Sunday too scorgeous. It is nerve racking/wierdly lonely doing a race on your own so I can empathise with you and KYCU having run my midweek one speaking to pretty much no-one (thanking the marshalls aside)! Mostly people either knew each other or had mp3 players on I found. Once I got going it was all OK though. Concentrated on my pace and my running.

Reporting in a 4.3mile run in 41:44 (avg pace of 9:41). Fuelled on a banana - obviously ;)

Total for the week = 17.6 miles.

Oooh, Just seen Simply's post - excellent run for you today :D I got a really good run the other week on the third day of consecutive running - no idea how it all works but it feels great doesn't it

That's you down on the list for a visit from social services then, for being an 'overly competitive family' ;);) Well done MrB and MiniB. :T:T
