My Dad has to be the champion. He writes down every coin he picks up, and averages 16 a day. He gives it all to the local hospice.
Last year he collected (this is what I know of)
£182 in cash
1 white gold wedding ring
1 silver ring
3 watches
1 diamond and saphire bracelet
2 wallets
2 credit cards
+ numerous trinkets.
He hand valuables into the local police station, and so far NO-ONE has thanked him for their return!0
