Have just had an e-mail from Coolshop saying I have won a Playstation 3 slim, but i have to fill in card details and pay 10p for admin???? Has anyone ever heard of this company? Think it is a Danish company. Sorry if in wrong place, having to rush as going to work now. Thanks in advance for any repies.

I have used Coolshop often for my sons games and found them really efficient. Surprised if they were involved in scams but it does sound strange.

Over the last week or so, several of the large prize winners have been announced by Get me a Ticket and I have to say, Martin Gilligan must be the luckiest person in the UK. According to Get me a Ticket he has just won:

£15,000 to spend on his home,
    A Honda Civic Car,
    A BMW Series 1 Car,
    A Renault Clio Sport Car,
    and £ 15,000 in Cash

Not bad in a week !!

Also someone called Louise Chapman seems to have a lock on the medium sized prizes as she has won both of the recent £ 500.00 voucher competitions announced (Primark and PC World).

So unless your name is Martin Gilligan or Louise Chapman I wouldn't bother entering any of the Get me a Ticket competitons, it's just a scam site to get your details for marketing purposes.

    Good gaming everyone.

I had the same call. Asked for their number so that I could think about it and call back, and he told me they only have outgoing lines. Whatever!! Hate it when they get my hopes up that I've won something, only to realise part way through that it's a scam.

ETA, found the comp and now I'm rethinking - there is a main prize but then it says that everyone that enters will get a £250 off voucher. So I suppose it's common sense that if they are going to give everyone a voucher, they are using it as a marketing exercise to get people to have quotes. I still won't be having a quote though :)

    Hi All

I had a phone call late yesterday afternoon,I noticed it was a 0800 98 number so i instantly thought wahoo its a comp. When i answered they asked if it was me (my name) to which i said yes he explained he was from GKT publishings (if I'm correct) and he said (in his Canadian accent) that do i remember entering into a competition to win an Iphone4/Flat screen TV or £10,000 to which i got all excited thinking that maybe i might have won for a change,I said yes then he said that Ive got though to the final round of this competition could i please confirm my D.O.B and my email address which i did.He then goes on to say do i take part in the lottery to which i answered no and was told that i was entitled to enter into a syndicate to win money for a small fee (to which i didn't find out how much) i said no i wasn't interested he was very persistent and after 4 times trying to talk me into this the line went dead?

So annoyed by this has anyone else had this type of call from these people?
iVE GOOGLED THE NUMBER AND FOUND THIS SITE http://whocallsme.com/Phone-Number.aspx/08009886006/21
