My scales and pedometer have arrived! The pedometer is much better than the previous one (altho I can't reset the steps so am just remembering that there were 6800 steps on it when it arrived!LOL!) and I had a bit of a shock when I weighed myself but now know how much I need to lose. So that's good.
I did some walking on the spot for two minutes - why does walking on the spot feel harder than actual walking?
Flying - I have decluttered the packaging!

Huston_kw Save towel for the next hair dying session, and the only thing (in my wilder youth experience) that got out hair dye from stuff was bleach with a lot of elbow grease.

Good idea about the towel, but elbow grease with my elbow is a bit tricky at the moment lol!!:rotfl:

..... They've dyed her hair BLACK and used a CREAM towel!!!! Is there any hope for it or shall I just bin it?
Also they have cleaned up in the bathroom but I am left with some 'grey' marks on both the painted door and cushion floor that hasn't come off with Mr M bathroom cleaner. What shall I use??
    Many thanks in anticipation

Towel:- keep for next time or make into rag for cleaning cars / dogs / bikes etc.

Marks on the door:- no idea, (maybe cif?) but tell the girls they are in the garden next time to save the mess! :rotfl:

Sunnygirl - I saw the springwatch and have been to southstack many times. When we go to anglesey later this year we hope to have a trip out there but can't remember if you can take dogs...did you see any?

Rosepink - glad you got your pedometer. I am going to lose weight. I'm starting with 7lbs then i'll set a new target. I can't do big targets as I get disheartened! Here's to us both losing a few lbs!

Flying - s/s kitchen work tops.

Nearly time for school run xx

Didn't see any dogs but it was that wet and windy that they'd have been blown off the edge! Think we saw some last year when we went but can't be sure. DH really loves it there. He quite into birds. DD2 was about 19 months when we went last year and she walked all the way down those steps to the bridge and most of the way back up again too!

    School run time...

Hugs Rosepink, hope you feel better soon,
I popped down the chemist earlier and I found Stardrops with ammonnia, now is that the same one or not and can it be use for the same things, I am thinking it will smell?????
DD has gone upstairs to play(she said she doesn't want to go to T-K-D any more and I don't think she was enjoying it, TBH), so I am going to prep the pork kebabs for tea and do a HHI with Noel at 4:15 if anyone wants to join me.....? xx

in addition to the above I also managed two loads of washing, the usual dinner, lunch etc etc. I finally repaired the tent so all I have to do now is pack it all away.

    I love this thread!!!

Off to pick up DS from afterschool club, then homework, dinner, bath etc. I think I might have an early night tonight as I am bushed,......
