Yesterday DH had his endoscopy to have a look at his stomach ulcer. Turns out he actually has seven! No wonder he's in pain.

Now I must catch up on some housework - loos need cleaning so I'll start with them. I think I'll start a HHC at 11am.

Morning all, not caught up yet.

I did most of the living room yesterday so today I dusted and then vacuumed right through downstairs - so a star for today please Soappie :)

Two loads of washing done, dried and put away including my bedding. I did all the bedrooms today because the forecast looked better than tomorrow's! Bedroom windows cleaned, mirrors done too. Everything dusted and polished including lampshades, skirting boards etc. Vacuumed all upstairs including bathroom and toilet floors (they get washed when I do the bathroom etc).

Nearly time to start cooking but I've got ten minutes to read some posts first :)

As predicted, my CPN was offensive. You'd think she would have a better manner as she works with people who feel sensitive and are ill. But no. She suggested something I really don't want to do at the moment and then got all uppity when I said that I didn't want to do it. I'd taken up all her other suggestions. She said I obviously don't want to change my life and move forward. Seeing as I'd just told her all the things I'm trying to do, that's rubbish. Anyway, I was struggling not to cry so I asked her said that I find her very interrogatory and critical and then I asked her to leave. My support worker looked very uncomfortable during the whole exchange and I'd really like to get her take on things as I feel I overreacted. I cried a lot after they left.

Sorry to rant. Just need to tell someone. Everytime I've seen her she has criticized a decision I've made or been insensitive. I really wanted to tell her how she makes me feel but in the end didn't do it very well.

  • (((hugs))) Rosepink! She sounds like a meany... And don't worry about overreacting - you are the one who is supposed to be being supported, not made to feel like you're being attacked. x
