Justamum - ouch! Your poor OH, that sounds painful - I hope they get him sorted.
Rosepink - hugs to you. You should be proud of yourself for standing up to her as that's sometimes really hard. Don't think of it as overreacting, think of it as the first step towards you becoming a strong and independent woman who won't take carp!
Thanks for the good wishes about my stupid back. The doctor was fab and said to try and keep moving which is what I do anyway. She's given me very strong painkillers so I can move without as much pain....the more I move the quicker it improves. Feel very positive that it will heal quickly or else i'll have words with it!!!
Lunch decluttered and plates put in the dishwasher. I'm just going to do little bits as I don't do 'resting'! Lol! xx
I can sympathise with you here. I have suffered with my back and have been again for the last few weeks. I can literally crawl into the gym but after a bit of movement and an hour in the spa it feels alot better. I can't wait to go back i have missed it so much.
Hope your feeling better soon xx Take it easy.
Rose WELL DONE YOU These people are in a position of support and all she has done is attempt to make you feel even worse which can be a very eary thing to do. I would be on the phone to the nice one and ask her what the hell was she all about.
I am so proud of you for standing up to her honey now dry those beautiiful eyes and crack on with your list so the house is nice and tidy for your holidays. Make this your mission before you go away. Just think how nice to come home after a holiday to a nice clean house xxx:beer: Officially Debt Free Nov 2012 :beer:0 -
Oh dear Rose I do feel for you. I hope you feel a bit better when you've had a nap. My answer to everything, a good kip!

Afternoon all
Invigilated 2 exams this morning so no flying yet. Just going to have a cuppa and then I have to go to Mr M we are so low on food.
Soappie - I love the way you tell us when you have given yourself a star.
My favourites are all the laughing ones ROFL or LMAO
Rose - sorry to you feel down. I can see both sides. I'm a straight talker and can come across abrupt and don't suffer fools gladly (not saying you are a fool!) but that is why I would never consider a caring profession. Good cop/bad cop double act and I'd only play one role.
Mudders - ouch, hope you get some relief from the pain soon. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

Apparently she does care, as she was upset in the car and worried that she had upset me. I think her intentions are good, but unfortunately, I find it hard to see beyond her abrupt way of speaking and her tactless way of talking.
I feel bad that she was upset and I wish the whole thing hadn't happened really. I don't particularly want to see her again. My support worker knows her better than I do and feels that she wasn't criticising me at all so perhaps I am overly sensitive. I don't always see things straight. That's part of being ill I suppose. It's a difficult situation.0 -
Afternoon Ladies
Haven't caught up on the thread really so don't know what's happened much. Hugs and healing vibes to all that need them. Wish I could send a healing vibe to my blasted chrome elbow, it's playing up again really bad so back on diclofenic and painkillers.
Flying wise, sweet FA really!!
Though DH did all the ironing saturday and dusted and hoovered all downstairs when I was at work - bless the man!
Have s/s every morning the kitchen and bathroom before work, but everythings harder trying to use the other arm more.
Sorted out the utility this morning as well.
Question for all you that have a great knowledge of cleaning. My DD1 and her friend dyed friends hair last night. That's ok but at 19 and 20 you'd think they'd be able to do it without making a mess. They've dyed her hair BLACK and used a CREAM towel!!!! Is there any hope for it or shall I just bin it?
Also they have cleaned up in the bathroom but I am left with some 'grey' marks on both the painted door and cushion floor that hasn't come off with Mr M bathroom cleaner. What shall I use??

Massive hugs Rosepink - sometimes people mean well but they dont give enough thought to their delivery even if their intentions are good.
Focus on the positives and how much better you are feeling now that you arent working and the progress you've made with the flat. You've got plenty of time to worry about what you want to do next and you will know when you are ready to think about making those decisions.
Dont let her upset you and remember all the good things xxSometimes lurking, sometimes posting, but always flying

Save towel for the next hair dying session, and the only thing (in my wilder youth experience) that got out hair dye from stuff was bleach with a lot of elbow grease.0 -

Hello to everyone else. Did start reading the thread but my eyes are getting tired now. See you in a bit. x
ETA: Did anyone watch Springwatch last night? Simon King (think that's his name) was at South Stack in Anglesey...that's where we were on Saturday looking at all the birds. It was very wet and windy though so this time we didn't go across the bridge to the lighthouse. Some of the the crew were there already filming.0
