Yep - just checked the Red's itinerary. They're at the airport overnight. Shame I have ExOH1 coming for lunch tomorrow - I might just have driven out to the airport to wave them off....

They fly in formation too don't they - really impressive first time you see it! We're not far from Duxford so during air show season we see all sorts of things as we go up and down the M11!

greenbee that sounds really painful - should you be walking? I hope the medicinal wine helps flush out the toxins!
Valli oooh honey I didnt realise you were not enjoying your work - yes it would be good to have a social life again you deserve it - would you enjoy full time work and you wouldnt have the holidays either:confused: you need to weigh up the pros and cons of getting it as I am sure if it involves spreadsheets the job has your name on it! But even if you are not wholly sure about taking it it might be worth doing the application and sending it in as a good exercise to prepare you for any other jobs that might appear.IYKWIM xx
soappie booohooo! the Red Arrows were at the local airport for a mini airshow last saturday and I sooooooooooooooooooooooo wanted to go and of course I missed them! The morning carer said she was there and they were brilliant (as always!)
It just shows you how gullible people are though doesnt it - we read of these scams about people being conned out of money etc and cant belive it and there you are with a 12 year old proving it - yes he's ingenious - but lets hope he never gets into more serious deceptions.
well done boddy glad you have it sorted.
pigpen awh bless - they sound like lovely little people!

my evening carer was a young Phillipino man - he was great and rustled me up eggs, sausages and toast - must get some shopping done - will need to meal plan much more now so that I have things in. he filled the Dw and its on so that will be ready for the morning - I might have to get some more cutlery!

I took some rubbish out to the bin and hung out 2 towels which are now dry, folded and put away - it has been very warm thundery here but not sunny - the forecast for tomorrow is heavy showers!

    toots xx

I'm not too far from finishing the flying list tomorrow.

Not done anytoday as OH and I have decided to split up. I am single again. Don't know if it was right or wrong, sat in tears all day feel numb. Feel like jumping in a bottle of wine but no corkscrew so a low % lambrusco screw top it is. Can't come to terms with it really, it is over.

Will try flying tomorrow to take mind off things hopefully
