What did you have for breakfast and lunch Toots - you need veg - and lots of it!
I had cornflakes for brekkie and lunch was brown bread sandwich of cheese tomato and cucumber and a packet of crisps! Its difficult because there is very little in and they only have 30 mins! You know what I am like with meal planning soappie so this will be a real test! I am going to try and remember some of the things I had in hospital and try to work from there and will try to get a pot of soup done tomorrow with whatever is around.

Lots and lots of hugs Fedupandskint, I agree with Toots and Pigpen, we are all here for you if and when you need us.

I have to have a slight brag :o I made bolognese sauce from scratch for the first time today, with carrots, celery, mushrooms, tin of tomatoes, mince and fresh basil. Didn't use a recipe or nuffink! And Boyf said he liked it too. Cleared out some of the veg in the fridge as an added bonus.

Rang Granny, she's started her 2nd lot of chemo but feeling okay, I said I might be able to visit in September and she seemed quite pleased, the chemo might have all built up by then.

Did some dusting over things while dinner was cooking, so I've done fairly well on my list.

Love to everyone, Toots remember to get an early night lovely!

The Fayre seemed to go well (thanks for all your comments) and the weather was lovely :D Had a very nice mushroom and spinach lasagne in the pub afterwards followed by rhubarb and ginger crumble with rhubarb ice-cream :D

Toots - hope you are taking it very easy; being goodISH isn't being good is it :p Glad your carers are helping and are nice. And you have to be on here - you are not a fraud being here as you well know! :A

    L-L - hope you're doing ok

rosepink - I second what MOJT said about how far you've come :T

pigpen - glad the girls and Hazel are doing ok

fedup - huge hugs; it is always difficult when relationships end whether it is your choice or not. Please don't drown yourself in alcohol though. Feel free to talk, shout or scream on here on by PM, take care x

My no-longer-a-friend was at the Fayre today (didn't bring her husband or daughter this time though - wonder why ) and has now sent me a text saying 'we need to talk, I hate it when we're not talking' Oh, and it would appear she is talking openly in her classroom about her affair and forgetting people may overhear - at least half a dozen others now know!

Toots, I’m so glad you have some proper help, that’s brilliant

Big big hugs Fedupandskint. Take care of yourself, flying as a distraction sounds good. Have you got any friends/family nearby? We are all here if you want to cry/rant/scream/shout etc

Well done Carol with your bolognaise, nice that your BF commented on it. And glad that Granny is having her treatment ok

Frodders, is she talking to the kids about the affair, or talking about it in the classroom on her mobile or what? Either way she sounds stupid. She sounds like she wants to get caught out.

Thanks for all your kind words about how far I’ve come, it’s really nice of you all. I really want to do more for others now that I don’t have to work. As well as looking after myself! I've got plans!

    Evening all,

Hugs to Fedup hope you're ok.

Pigpen i'm glad Hazel's doing well and :rotfl:at your DD trying to get new clothes.

I didn't get round to doing anything on my list again:rolleyes:. Ds2 choked eating his lunch and then threw up:eek:. He was retching so much he burst all the blood vessels in his face, now he looks like he's got freckles. I cleaned that all up and then we went in the garden. I cleaned out Ds2's sand and water tray because even though the lid was on the rain had got in and it stank. Then i repotted my tomato plants.

After that we went and got a rabbit she a lovely little thing. I think i love her more than the kids do:rolleyes:. She's called Donna after Ds2's favourite companion of Dr Who:cool:.

Hopefully i should get something done off my list tomorrow.
