DayDreamBeliever I agree in the karma bit too - what goes around comes around! How is your dad - hope the holiday helped him and is none the worse.
rose what a good neighbour you are - that should get you out more too.
carlsberggal you are making me hot just reading what you have been up to - congrats on your first star - :T:T oooh now I see you have your second star - thats brilliant WTG :T:T:T:T:T
bevan and you too - thats brilliant well done on getting your 2 stars - and it gets easier every week - next week just aim to get 2 and who knows you could get 3:T:T:T:T:T
LadyL how old are your kittens? I was wondering about embb too and emily and funfairprincess?
AnW'sMum I hope you shared them with W?????
greenbee ok I will stop nagging - you know whats needed but dont burn yourself out - weekends are for re-charging the batteries!!!! You must be one of the best team managers I know with all the help you are giving them but dont forget to do some work to further your careeer to (((hugs)))
mummyyof5 but you must miss him too especially with having to look after all 5 on your own? Does the oldest help you? I wonder if living out of a suitcase in hotels etc has made him untidy? its great that his employers have loads of work. You must have nice reunions:rolleyes:;):D:rotfl:
bevan aw angel dont be lonely - you have us to keep you company - I know its not the same but there is always someone here to chat to as well as your Mum and OH. I hope you get yourselves sorted out and be able to move somewhere where you will be happy.
dusty it sounds like your tablets arent helping - maybe you need something stronger - (((hugs))) it must be so uncomfortable.
boddy I know its a horrible thing to sit and do but try to get your statement done and out of the way - it will also give you time to go back over it tomorrow just in case you want to change anything. you dont want to miss anything. Your morning sounded lovely - I wish i could meet your Mum she sounds lovely and the image I have of her munching her chocolate! Thats good news about your weight loss - the extra walking will def be helping. I am surprised that i lost 4lbs in hospital and I wasnt active and was eating more but it was very balanced.
pigpen sorry but I had to giggle at the girls wanting to give evidence and needing a new outfit - that sounds about right for teenagers - bless them for being prepared to stand up and do the right thing. Thats great that Hazel is looking for food and attention - I think you are right keeping her restricted she might bump into things and scare herself or do herself an injury - its early days - gentle cuddles and love from me.
Are the LO's getting over the shock now?

I was going to be putting some clothes away in the bedroom this afternoon but sat down to look at today's post and must have fallen asleep - very annoying - I think I lost a couple of hours!!!

I've got rid of all the bottles, and been to the farm shop for strawberries, pears, spinach, carrots and eggs.

I really need to do some more walking, but I don't feel like doing the mowing. I could walk into the village to get some yogurt from the shop... I think one of the reasons I might be feeling so lethargic is from the massage yesterday. I've had problems with one of my calves being tight when I'm walking/running, and the girl doing the massage found a lump there which she thought was a blocked lymph node - it was VERY painful when she dealt with it, and my calf is now very tender and bruised. I'm just hoping that it has worked, but if it was a lymph node then there's probably been lots of nasty toxic stuff dumped into my system.

Then again... it could just be stress

Thanks for your kind words, but it's not really that hard to help my neighbour, she lives about 15 feet away from my front window! And I'm not scared about going out in the car so it won't be stressful. It's not that much honestly

Hugs Bevan and Mummyof5, it sounds really hard to have your OH’s away so much. Bevan, have you made any friends nearby? I would hate to have my DH away so much, I would get really lonely too. You poor thing.

Well done with your weight loss Boddy, keep going! I’m really hoping that I will fit into some clothes again that I’ve grown out of

Dusty, it’s a bit worrying that you get such dramatic reactions to insect bites. If you ever get bitten near/in your mouth or throat you must get medical help immediately, I spect you know that already

Toots, don't be annoyed with yourself for falling asleep, you obviously needed it. Perhaps you should have an afternoon nap more often!

Bevan, when did you move up to Sunderland? I went to school there, I can possibly PM you some ideas of things to do around the place if you get bored? feel free to ignore if you are already settled, I just thought it might help take your mind off OH being away.

Pigpen - I had a one-eyed cat for years, he lived longer than all our other cats (we used to take rescue ones), I'm sure Hazel will be okay once she gets used to the difference. She probably needs all the food to get over the shock, and help the healing process? And I would have tried for new clothes as well...

Rose - don't do yourself down! Offering to help is a lovely thing to do, and I'm sure that not enough people do things like that any more.

Greenbee - ouch! Hopefully all those toxins will be being decluttered out!

Puts me in mind of DS who wanted to come to court when I got divorced...and wanted to watch the judge bang his gavel and convict me!
I think I did point out (rather acidly) that it was a civil case and not a criminal one...
He did say he didn't actually want to see me sent to prison but thought it would be exciting!

I think the reason I am suffering from CBA is the fact that I actually have so much to do thatI don't really know where to start (work stuff).
I have seen a job I could apply for - different to what I do now which would use my spreadsheet skills, it would be full time BUT it would be work at work mostly. I wonder if I should apply...the increasing pressures being put on people in my profession is daunting. I might even have time for a social life - and meet people with whom to have one with...

greenbee I am 90% sure there are no lymph nodes in the lower half of the leg just in the thigh.....so seems a bit odd if she found one on your calf. Might be worth getting it checked if you have a lump in that area especially if bruising has occured after it being rubbed. If it was a blood clot she shouldn't have rubbed it really.

Made dinner, DS1 asked for rice with his and now won't eat it  pest. Got some of the kitchen done, washers on and DW almost filled. Will have a little time sat on my bum reading then crack on with the rest of the kitchen.
One day I might be more organised...........

TMF pizza for dinner along with some homemade french bread ones to use up the last of the pasta sauce and a reduced PE from waitrose - taste's so much better when it is cheap.

Going to do a HHC in the bedroom and then that is that room done. Bathroom tomorrow, I'll get 3 stars yet this week.

Thanks for your concern Rose. My Dad used to get the same reaction as me so it doesn't freak me out and it is a slow reaction, gets worse over a 3 day period and then usually starts to fade away, but I may see a doctor tomorrow if it is no better as I tend to get a reaction now everytime I am bitten whereas it used to be just one or two a year.

Boddy - I know it's hard but why not get the statement done for work then it's off your load and you can partition it into the 'out' box. Glad your Mum enjoyed your walk.
Toots - No, Rach has done Switzerland - when she sent the text she was on a windy headland in Wales! I will send her a text saying you sent her your love and you'll catch up later
Greenbee - the lymph nodes - it's probably stress!

Have just recently (about 20 mins or so ago) had the Red Arrows fly over my house :D They must be parked up at the local airport for the night. It's funny, I thought I heard them earlier but dismissed it. But it seems I was right.

It's really claggy here this evening. Hanging cloud and high humidity and my bedding hasn't dried properly. I may have to treat us to a bit of heating tonight just to finish the bedding off...

Yep - just checked the Red's itinerary. They're at the airport overnight. Shame I have ExOH1 coming for lunch tomorrow - I might just have driven out to the airport to wave them off....
