My OH has aspergers so is rather fussy about underwear/socks..funny about seams etc.

He ONLY wears red socks so he mainly gets them from Sock Shop or TK Maxx. I did get him to wear some non-red Primark socks last year with parrots on though ;-)

He buys his boxers from Sports Direct as he is a big lad and they do cheap ones in larger sizes. He will wear them till they fall off though.

He doesn't realy buy accessories but has odd things from H&M, M&S and small one off shops.

Almost all the men I know get it bought by their mum's until about 21 and afterwards by girlfreinds/wives. I know of two exceptions to this, one who actually goes shopping and buys it all himself and one who buys it just before he goes on holiday, usually in bulk and usually from matalan. One trip around the store and he's sorted for another year...

I was surprised at how few of the previous comments talk about men buying underwear online. The guys in our office (about 20 or so) are split between not buying any at all and buying them online, with a few who just stick some basics in the shopping trolley when they are in the supermarket.

More than half of the online buyers get calvin kleins or Bjorn Bjorgs (very topical with wimbledon underway) from sites like figleaves.com, a very female oriented site, base.com, a more moderate male/female oriented site and some from deadgoodundies.com which is male only and pretty explicit with some of the images and items it sells

My OH generally turns round to me every few months and complains that he has no socks/boxers. I'll get them from Tesco with weekly shop, or Primark if I'm in there but tbh I don't think he would know where to look or what was a good price! His mum buys him a big pile at Christmas, she's started buying me knickers too but I find that too strange to think about...

Dont buy a thing in the UK and havent for years. Everything I wear comes from the US, normally RL or TH, better quality and far better prices. 90% is bought by me but wife does get me some for christmas as well.

I usually end up getting OH things like that, usually from Debenhams, Next or M&S.

I usually get Calvin Kleins from TK Maxx or online... socks from pretty much anywhere (Next, supermarket etc). I don't have anywhere particular for accessories... just depends on what takes my fancy.

Have to say, I *very* rarely buy any of these things.

I bought M+S boxers, smart socks and smart-casual socks in bulk - have 20+ identical pairs of each and with good rotation they've lasted for the last 4 years no probs (although they're looking a little worn now - will update soon :)). Sport socks were bought in bulk from Sport Soccer, Donnay, somewhere like that - many moons ago now. Mooooons :)

Accessory-wise, I bought a belt from Austin Reed about 5 years ago I use for smart-casual or smart (it's 2 sided brown and black) - I have another casual belt that I bought...15 years ago? can't even remember where from. Also got another belt I rarely wear that came free with some Next combats.

Get cufflinks pretty rarely (only wear for interviews, weddings etc), usually from jewellers or debs.

Watches I get semi-frequently. Last couple have come from Amazon and Argos in the sales, though...

    Feeling decidedly slobbish now :)

It's about time the OP told us how they got on at this interview. There we are, baring all (in some cases on behalf of our OHs) - was it worth it?

You think that's strange.... a friend of mine received an underwear set (bra & knickers) from her MIL, who then told her that she knew they'd fit because she'd had a look in my friend's underwear drawer while babysitting one night to check what size she was!!!!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
