Hi all,
Im really not sure if this is in the right place, but I'm hoping you can help me! I have a job interview next week with a retail head office and I need to find out where men (aged around 25-35+) buy their accessories (hats, belts, ties, scarves etc) and underwear/socks from.
Do men even buy it themselves or rely on girlfriends/Mums/gifts??
If anyone could let me know their preference I would be very grateful!
Thank You

My son, being a thrifty type, uses charity shops for belts etc and market stalls for socks and underwear.0

depends what kind of guy they are
My OH and his brother wait until Christmas cos they know Mum will buy them enough socks and boxers to last a year!
My Dad lives on is own and would just get them in Tesco when doing his weekly shop.
My brother and step-dad would get Mum to buy them and she would go to places like Next to get them.A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
Where does the time go? :think:0 -
I tend to buy my foundation garments from M&S along with my socks. I dont tend to accesorise !
Suits-well again M&S have a good selection of quality suits. Debenhams also has a good mens section with some quality wares.0 -
My son buys hims wherever is cheapest but likes designer. He buys his from TKMaxx or waits til we go to the USA and gets them from the outlet stores same for his accessories. OH gets his from M&S or next, accessories usually the same place. However for cufflinks OH gets them from Debenhams or a jewellers always in the sale though!Debtfree JUNE 2008 - Thank you MSE:T0

My brother gets his at Christmas. It's a family joke.
My dad never replaces his
My husband waits till he flies to the US and goes to a specific shop and purchases as many of the particular kind he likes as are available in his size and colour preference. And then doesn't replace them till the next time.
My ex bought his in M&S.
I think the concluding message is, there's a whole array of ways they can get them and a narrower demographic would be required to make a proper judgement.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Went in Burton with DS yesterday and saw accessories - so clearly for men, bracelets, rings scarves etc.
Was quite fascinated as I don't have a OH - didn't realise there were mens ranges!Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

My brother who is 22 tends to buy suits from next or debhenams, and underwear and socks from M & S. He has also had a couple of suits from slaters mens wear, they are nice as they are semi tailored to fit.2009 wins: Cadburys Chocolate Pack x 6, Sally Hansen Hand cream, Ipod nano! mothers day meal at Toby Carvery! :j :j :j :j0

Slaters Mens Wear are a good bet because they do free alterations, not just at the time you buy the suit, but (providing its in good condition) for the life of the suit, so if you lose weight you can go in and they will take it in, put on weight let it out etc. The also have a good range of belts, shirts, ties, underwear etc.
Next sale is a great time to get your boxers briefs, socks suits, shirts etc at half price. Many a next sale queuing outside at 2am in the morning would they be a good of executive type guys waiting for the store to open to get their yearly office wear at half price or less.:rotfl: l love this site!! :rotfl:0
