woooo wooooo just won £5 on littlewoods bingo scratchcards so ive withdrawn £12.80 from there yeaaah most ive ever won before was 50p!!
And im just 40 lightspeed points from getting my first payout of £6.
I don't feel as motivated to pay this debt off for some reason as i was saving the £5000 the Oh has soo much stuff to pay for at the mo (inc cycling from poland to estonia) that he's not been able to put any money in.0 -
well done on the bingo win, it's months since i won more than 20p but it all adds up.
why is your OH cycling from poland to estonia?0 -
cheers Lemon Tree I also joined virgin bingo yesterday and have all of 50p so far from them!
He does silly cycling quests each year with his best mate, he did barcelona to Rome last yr this time he's doing it for a MS care centre he volunteers for.0 -
I now have £41 to last me until i get paid on the 16th as transpennine express have chargd me twice for my train ticket-tried to get it sorted out yest but i was getting nowhere i'll try and do it again today I WANT MY £41.30 BACK!!
Sctrachcards done all of 35p and quidco done-was only paid £1.53 from them this month i think thats the lowest amount ever i'll just wait for the green met money to come through as i can't be bothered to transfer such a small amount as i takes an age to fill in the details.0 -
Doh i completly forgot about the £100 in my halifax account i sent them to open it-hurrah im not as skint as i thought!
I've now saved up £304.82 in the savings account to put twards the cc this is from extras we have in the joint account.
Cant seem to get onto littlewoods bing will try later.
Realised as i cycled to a meeting yesterday that id never actulayy claimed for mileage which apparantly i can do when i cycle anywhere-its all of 3 miles i can claim woo woo0 -
well done for being able to claim for mileage, it all adds up and despite many at my place thinking i should doing endless mileage for the love of the job, i figure that they don't think any better of me if i do, so now i claim whatever i can legitimately claim. I'm even bad/sad enough to need to write a letter to reclaim tax back on the excess mileage i've done that i've allowance against.0

From now on i will claim for everything thats what i say Lemon Tree!
B*gger and blast the £41.30 that transpenine have over charged me for has completly thrown me out of things and i'm £26.30 over my overdraft arrggghhhhh ive borrowed that amount from the joint acc & transfered it across earlier. I'll give them a call later with a sob story so hopefully they wont charge me. B*ggeritus.0 -
If you are charged, send a complaint letter to transpenine with proof of the charge that is as a direct result of thier error, and get them to pay it.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Thank you Hypno i didn't know you could do that.
I really don't know how you find the time to do all you do-keep your mega long diary up to date and give out wonderous words of wisdom to others aswell you're a star!!0 -
I've had to do it a couple of times, and as long as you can prove that it was their error that caused you to be overdrawn, you shouldn't have a problem in getting them to clear it.
